While some people argue that the relevant high standard on ethic and morality of public officials’ is crucial to effective leader, I hold a perspective, however, that other factors such as the ability of the official’s and the interrelationship with the subordinate are more essential to an effective leader.

Admittedly, ethical and moral standard, as it to every social member, is essential to an official leader. Standard from ethic to morality of the individuals weighs the civilization degree of society, especially the political leaders. A politician’s job is to build, maintain, and expand the wealth, prosperity and political influence on the nation, district, country, state. This is his primary concern. Hence, the prosperity and stability of society will be largely determined by the moral and ethic standard of the leader who has the right to institute the policy. We cannot imagine what the society, ruled by low ethic and moral leader, will be.

However, the ability of the leader, rather than the ethical and moral standard, is the essence to estimate and determine whether the leader is effective or not. Firstly, an effective leader, in my opinion, can be defined as a person who makes bright and wise decision, and the determination will be effectively and efficiently executed by his subordinates, at the same time, gains a satisfying and fruitful result in the end. The political leader, facing the vertiginous political and economical situation, will hurdle with the difficult only by his extraordinary abilities, regardless of the level of ethic and moral standard. Modern politicians are replete with examples of ethic falling ones can also leader the nation well.
