It seems more people tend to watch TV instead of reading books when they are free. In most people's eyes, TV programes can be an entertainmentadj way rather than an educational tool. In the age of television, people can learn by watching it, but as a traditional method, reading books will never recedevi its place of providing knowledge. The speaker has overstated the importance of TV programes as a way of learning.
First of all, if one considers the problem from a pure learning standpoint, it is true that television can be a good way of acquiring knowledge. As a medium, television has an almost magical capability of attractiong the attention of children and adults alike好像不对as well可以吗. A well-produced TV program can be a tremendous vehicle for teaching while simultaneously entertaining a person. Meanwhile a moving videothe animated pictures in the video is more direct and vivid than still pictures and words in books. For example, the National Geographic television programs provides people direct visual experience of behaviors of people and animals rathar than the book of National Geography. A program called Approaching Science serves people numerous facts , such as , complex medical operations, misterious UFO, monstrous不太恰当 astronomical phenomenon and so on, which can stimulate people to think, imagine and discuss. 不过没有体现NG的书和电视节目好在哪儿,为什么书就不行 For these advantages, to some extent, television is a better teahcer than books. However, books can give a better and more accurate description of people's spiritual actions and what they think and what's in their mind. Besides characters in books, by reading thembooks can leave us a lager imaginalimaginative space for readers than a television program providesdoes.
On the other handon the other hand 是并列,不是转折, form techonical point of view好, there're lots of limitation for television as a educational tool. In therory, all the thingscontents in books can be made into TV program, however, in fact, there're lots of problems hindering the development of educational effects of television. To begin with, in some developed and developing countries, people to recieve information from TV is convinient. But to some pool countries and some people in rural ereas of developing countries it's difficult for them to watch TV, not to say to be educated through television programs. Secondly, we need special television signals recieving machine and enough space, etc, and it's easier to weak people's vision by watching it for a long time. But to books, it's more convinient to bring books with people and read it anytime and anywhere. Thirdly, educational television program has its own fixed broadcast time, unchanged content and schedule, most people cann't watch it on time. Finally, television can provide numerous information at a time which is fragmentary, by contrast, books can provide people systematic frame which is easier for people to learn and remember.最后一个点很精彩,电视提供的是fragmentary information,就这一点,展开就足以写出很充实的一段。
To summarize, television and books both have their advantages and disadvantages when it comes to the ability to inspire people to pursue knowledge. But television can never take place of books to educate people, it can be a great supplementary(auxiliary/subsidiary) tool of acquiring knowledge for people. If we can combine these two ways of education, we can acquire comprehensive and over-all knowledge. And we will not only learning things, but also can be entertained被动不好.
思路我觉得可以,把语言在修改一下,有一些经常出现的拼写错误,贴到word里检查一下。 |
