The sum of two number that differ by 1 is t.In terms of t.what is the value of the greater of the two number?

是这样的，设一个为x，另一因为differ by one，所以是x＋1。2x＋1＝t，x＝（t－1）/2。所以x＋1（较大的一个）＝t＋1/2了。

其实是你没看懂题意，人家问的是the greater

天........我看了半天也选不出C,原来C的意思是(T+1)/2. It's totally different!!!
