Can any field of study advance profoundly if outsiders seldom bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study? The author claims it couldn't. I fundamentally share the same opinion with the author, but a case-by-case analysis should be taken into account.

Admittedly, when using the research methods and theories from outsiders into a certain realm, it will better promote the developments of all of them. The ways of study differ distinctively from various subjects and a certain field may focus only on a specific means and ignore or never think over others. When a certain domain is in deadlock or can’t make any breakthrough, it desires for other realms to offer the train of thought to broaden its own sights and views, and infuse vivid energy into its existed theory. For examples, physics and Chemistry were both in trouble when they investigated the material at a molecular level. They can’t solve the puzzled problems and advance greater than before, unless exchanging their ideas and study ways of each other. It is bringing outsiders into the knowledge and experience of a certain subject that promotes prosperity and development. Neglecting the communication and only limited in one’s own research, it is difficult or even impossible for a subject to develop benignly and keep in touch with the latest technology.

Moreover, for the better development of a new branch realm, it is necessary and even more urgent to implement well-developed subjects. A new branch area is usually based on several existed fields. In order to avoid wasting time and efforts in solving study ways and theories, a new one could borrow established ones from better-developed areas and have a high starting point. Biochemistry, as a late-model subject, uses advanced theory of biology and chemistry, and the technology method of computer to investigate the genes

Nevertheless, The development of a field can never only depend on the knowledge and experience of outsiders and the excessively relying on it may cause side-effects. We should have a correct and clear opinion that the function of outsiders is an assistant help, even be irreplaceable and too crucial to determine advancement and direction of a certain subject. If the scientists and the researchers have the false attitudes towards the action of other realms, they may come to be lazy and only put hopes to others to develop properly. The absolutely wrong opinions are prone to damage the healthy of a certain realm, which leads to either make little progress or even retreat.

In addition, the significant advancement is not only based on the knowledge and experience of outsides, but based on other indispensable factors. The efforts and endeavor of scientists are essential since objective diligence can bring continuous impetus and endlessly promote prosperity of a certain field; the government funding and economical environment are needed especially if the cost of research is high and can’t be afforded by any individuals. Without such support, a realm can never have enough funds to advance.

In sum, the better development of a certain field should need the efforts for its own researcher, with the help of outsiders. And other profound factors such as economy condition also have influence on it.

大方向上:
1. 我觉得在同意题目观点的论叙里,还是应当强调一下significantly这个意思的.稍微着重说一下外来知识和经验的引进的确能给当前专业带来”巨大”的推动作用.例子再详细一些,我这有些例子,可能不太详细,见谅.比如: At first, the laws in Chemistry could not make a distinction between atoms and molecules. Thus, for example, they could distinguish between the possible formulas for water HO and H2O2.直到物理知识(具体知识我忘了,嘿嘿,这就算个小例子吧)的引入才得以解决.
还有一开始在生物领域或者说是化学领域, 人们没有很好的提纯设备来进行更进一步的研究,直到Mass Spectrometer 的引入,他利用电磁的原理进行不同原子和分子之间的分离,他比当时的提纯设备精度高出千倍以上,这样就很好地推动了生物和化学的发展.
2. 在不同意观点上,可以举详细一些例子来证明比如:在数学领域上, Babylonian mathematicians solve quadratic equations, The Pythagoreans discover the Pythagorean theorem, Archimedes develops mathematical descriptions of the lever and other simple machines, British mathematician George Boole describes an algebraic system which comes to learn as Boolean Algebra. 这些数学学家都是通过自己刻苦钻研而极大推动数学体系的发展的
