12月高强组第一次同主题写作活动——Issue11 欢迎组外G友也一起来写

由于之前一直采用互改的形式，很多组员都有抱怨是在闭门造车，很难在一个主题上多了解下其他人的想法，对于写作套路和分析题目方式的收获也可能比较小，所以特此采用同主题写作的方式进行一次交流，目的是让大家对分析题目的方法、写作的方式能有一个全面的交流，通过对一道题目的深入剖析来了解写作ISSUE的惯用套路。

本期活动选题为Issue11，本题在9月5日之前的机井中出现频率是78次，之后又出现了6次，其中11月出现2次，可以算是今年比较热的一道题，而涉及到的全球化教育话题也是最近相当流行的。

首先请大家看下以前的同主题活动的帖子：

11 "All nations should help support the development of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems."

所有的国家应共同建立一所全球性大学，用来培养学生们解决世界的最顽固的社会问题。

分析：

本题的key word是global university，为建议性的Issue，有一个极端词“All”，因此采用反面观点比较容易：即各国情况不同，不能指望所有国家都能建立全球性大学。当然它还有个不确定词“Should”，所以采用正面观点也不会太难：虽然各国情况不同，但考虑到全球大学的优点，每个国家应该尽量实现这种措施。

对于Global University的好处，Newsweek考察全球top100的时候有段很不错的文字：

In response to the same forces that have propelled the world economy toward global integration, universities have also become more self-consciously global: seeking students from around the world who represent the entire spec­ trum of cultures and values, sending their own students abroad to prepare them for global careers, offering courses of study that address the challenges of an inter­ connected world and collaborative research programs to advance science for the benefit of all humanity.

本题的难点并不在前面的global university，而在于后面的限定从句“engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems”，因此文章具备了两个出发点：一，建立全球性大学；二，全球性大学解决最为顽固的社会问题，后面一个很容易被丢掉，所以写的时候还是注意了别绕太远把自己弄丢。

参考提纲看下原贴的就可以了，基本是比较全面的。另外这篇文章的北美范文写得相当出色，论证全面例子合理，里面拣点东西出来也能搞出个不错的提纲，呵呵。另外附件里有篇NEWSWEEK有关GLOBAL UNIVERSITY的文章，还是值得一读的。:D

另外还有个有关world's social problems的网站，相关的例子也有不少

【Essay】

Should the nation help support the development of a global university, which is designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems? The speaker's answer is yes, and so is mine. My reasons for my assertion are as follows.

To begin with, a global university helps students to know the world's social problem out of their own country. Why? A global university matriculates foreign students and exchanges students with universities in other nations. Through their talking, they will both learn the problems that each homeland has. For example, in American high school, few students know and do not want to bother to understand the starving problem of Africa, the population and environmental problem of China, and so on, except those who care about contemporary affairs. More surprisingly, some of them even never heard the name of Kofi Annan. While in college, because of communicating with foreign students and exposed in a global circumstance, things are quite different-they are eager to know and discuss these problems.缺总结句

Secondly, a global university increases students' responsibility as human being. For example, it increases students' concern about the environmental problem. Although there are a lot of reports about the decrease of forest, the widening of ozonic hole, the global warming, and the like, these are so far away from them that they do not pay attention to these problems, and even do not believe they are true. Thanks to the globality of a university, students have the chance to meet the people coming from the places where these problems do exist. After talking with them, they are totally shocked and regret for ignoring these problems for so long. Thus, in the rest of their lives they will do their best to protect the planet where they live. Obviously, the global university has the effect of engaging students to focus on and be responsible for the persistent social problems.

Thirdly, a global university cooperates with other universities, which creates a global academia and makes the global data easily available. For example, in American Harvard, Stanford, Yale and other universities have worked with Chinese universities on a number of programs, such as global warming, greenhouse effect and so forth. All of these programs require graduates, doctors and professors to take part in for a while. Because of the cooperation between universities, the data collected in different areas is shared and research fund is provided by universities in developed countries. All of these research activities contribute to solve the world’s most persistent problems.

In sum, we all have our own problems, but we also suffer from common global problems—war, environment and disease. To solve them, we need to use the whole human’s force and think from a global perspective. Thus, building and developing a global university is necessary for all nations because a global university can attract students to notice the world's most persistent problems, increase their responsibilities and bring them together to solve the problems.

看了第一段，跟第二段意思还是不一样的，但第一段显然说的太浅了，认识了别的地方的问题又能怎么样了？两段如果构成提问解决的关系的话显然不该用并列式的引导词吧

提纲1 建立世界性大学理论上有一定的意义
       2 实际操作上有很多困难:1经济发展水平的不同，对不同的社会问题侧重不同
                          2 管理上的极大困难：文化偏见很难消除
       3 其它的更有效的方式：举的专家论坛的例子
写的时候例子怎么也想不出来，感觉说说理又没有力度，这篇文章不好写

这两天天都比较忙，之前阿狗写太久了，今天实在没时间写issue了，先交个提纲。。。

不赞成
1．        随着全球化的发展，各国之间各大学之间的交流必不可少；
2．        国家之间有很多矛盾，建立全球大学可以减少矛盾，如今有很多国家共同存在的问题，一起研究可以互相补充
3．        大学是包容这种科目的，纯粹以解决各国问题的大学实际上已经失去了大学的本质，更像一个研究所。而且难避免强权政治的影响

突然想到一点哈
我觉得题目的意思大学只是要培养出能解国际事务的人才，而并不是全球大学来解决社会问题，因为本来要一个大学解决就是很不合理的。这样的话我觉得从人才培养的角度来说更合理
