Me: Hello, Sir, how are you!
Me:.......
VO: So you are going to study at University of Southern California?
Me:Yup!
Vo: What are you going to study?
Me: I will study in Computer Engineering and my study will focus on VLSI designing.
(本来想接着说 Because I want to find a job to be an IC designer in China when I graduate from USC....
VO: what do you do now? You say unemployed?
Me: Actually I graduated from Zhejiang university this June. Then Iapplied these universities and went to study English.Speaking andlistening. You know, my English is not very good. In the meantime, Iprepared the courses that will be taught in USC.
Vo: Who will pay your tuition?
Me: My parents. My father...(VO
VO:How much is your father's monthly salary?
Me: My father's annual income is about (这里很紧张,嗯,啊了半天,Vo 很nice的说,“it's ok, you can speak Chinese). 250,000--350,000 Yuan(这里其实我是突然记不清楚了,我心想这下完了,英语可能被认为不行,money可能不被相信)
VO:what does your father do?
Me: My father runs a company. He holds 80% percent shares of the company and he is the coperate representative and general manager of the company.(刚想介绍下我妈。。。)
Me:Here you are.This is bank deposit certificate.(我资金有问题,85万有一半是2006年存的)
Me: Would you like to see the license and other certificats of my father's company?
VO: Yes?oh,no,no.(看银行存款证明)
Me: Yes, I have. Here it is.
VO: Did you ever go to the US?
Me: No. But My father did.
VO: (抬了下头)oh?when did he go?
Me: In 1993.
VO: Did you ever go to the US?
Me:No.
Vo: Did your mother go?
Me: No.
Vo: Do you have any relatives in the US?
Me:No.
VO: oK。You get your visa. 。)
Me: (surprised)eh? Oh,thank you!(开始从窗口拿材料,想拿i20)
VO;wait a moment.(在I20上写啊写。。)
Me: Ok.Thank you!
Study hard in the States, don't be attractedby some insalubrious matters. Whether you will stick in the States afteryour study, please don't ever forget the color of your skin and do notlet other races look our Chinese down.
