Issue5【题目2A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer."【翻译】一个国家应该要求所有的学生在进入大学之前都学习由国家统一制定的课程,而不是允许由国家不同地区的学校去决定课程的安排。
提纲:需要但要考虑多样性
(1). 全国统一教材有助于向全同学生提供相同的价值观和文化传统。
(2). 集中全国教师智慧的高质量教材肯定考虑进去了各民族之间的差异,这对全国学生了解各族文化是有帮助的,而且统一的教材使全国学生具有相同的起点。
(3). 全国统一教材也有一些缺陷,固定的教材不能反映各民族自身的特点和特色,甚至破坏其传统习俗和生活方式。
(4). 正确对待国家教材,一方面要注意全国性道德素质的培养,另一方面也得注重各地特殊技能的训练。

Through careful scrutiny of the statement argued by the speaker we would find that allowing all students in a nation choosing the same curriculum would have some advantages. However, the speaker must have failed to take into account the diversity of a nation’s culture and the difference of nationality, which play an essential role on a nation’s regional development. From my perspective, I concede that it is reasonable for a nation to determine the whole nation’s curriculum aimed at providing students with the same tradition culture and value system, but at the same time allowing schools in different parts of the nation to determine its own courses.

(1). 全国统一教材有助于向全同学生提供相同的价值观和文化传统。
Admittedly, introducing unified curriculum for all the students may have certain amount of positive effects to the entire nation. First of all, inculcating students with the common grounds and standard can ensure all the students be favored with opportunity to lean the merits of traditional values that have been created and tested for a long time by our ancestors. For example, the thoughts of compromise, carried out by Confucius a thousand years ago, provide individuals with the common utmost conservative predisposition of Chinese people. In addition, the common grounds and standards can arouse student’s volunteer motive to preserve the traditional culture which stands for a nation’s characteristic and maintains a nation’s everlasting development. Nowadays, more and more people, especially those who was born in western areas, forgo the superior situation of big cities and volunteer without hesitation to go back to support their homeland construction. Finally, carry out the unified education policy would make the whole nation unify more closely and its people interact with each other more friendlily. Intoxicated by the same culture and cultivated by the same moral concepts, all students would be proud of their own nation’s greatness that arouses their national responsibility.

(2). 集中全国教师智慧的高质量教材肯定考虑进去了各民族之间的差异,这对全国学生了解各族文化是有帮助的,而且统一的教材使全国学生具有相同的起点。
What is more, unified national curriculum is the result of intelligence accumulated from the local educators of different areas in a nation. It must have considered the difference of various nations and written into textbook the specific and unique traditional culture, which would be necessary and even helpful for all the students to know about other nation’s history and value system. Moreover, applying such a policy among the whole nations would render students irrespective of their nationality standing at the same starting point, which provides an essential basis for students’ future opportunity of education promotion and career seeking.

(3). 全国统一教材也有一些缺陷,固定的教材不能反映各民族自身的特点和特色,甚至破坏其传统习俗和生活方式。
Aside from the foregoing two provisos, however, compulsorily applying unified curriculum in the whole nation would pose some detrimental effects. On the first place, in some special regions where local residents may possess some kind of traditions and customs totally different from the rest of the nation, unduly emphasizing the application of the national curricula may ruin their culture and value system. For example, cremation of bodies is prevailing in big cities. However, in some backward mountainous areas, to carry out this policy would result in destroying local residents’ tradition and customs. On the second place, the national curriculum also deprives the activity of the local educators to seek some innovations on the selections and determinations of the content of the curriculum. Without innovations, it would be impossible for educators to improve the education quality and train more excellence students to make contribution to the society.

(4). 正确对待国家教材,一方面要注意全国性道德素质的培养,另一方面也得注重各地特殊技能的训练。
Overemphasizing either the national government or the parochial leader’s role toward the determination of the national curriculum may falls into a jeopardize situation. On the one hand, we should choose the best educators from different regions to design the national curriculum to train students’ fundamental skills and cultivate their moral standard, as it can guarantee that the content of curriculum cover all aspects of the students’ healthy growth. On the other hand, each school should try their best to inculcate the practical skills to the students according to the local requirements. As we know, not all regions in China adopted the same curriculum the nation provides. Take Shanghai for example, the education innovation and preference of content of textbook have proved the orientation of education mode has its own advantage, but it doesn’t mean it has disconnected with the national education.  

In conclusion, in order to bring up a generation which will make great contribution to our society, we should not only need national curriculum to provide basic education but also require specific curriculum to supplement the national curriculum according to regional education’s requirement.

我刚写的提纲(吃饭回来了再看你的作文 :) ) :
有好处但难以实现.
1.中学的课程主要是一些必须掌握的常识和学习方法,所以统一课程可以让所有的中学生都接受同样的知识,使得他们有可能站在同一个水平上.有相同的文化基础.
2.统一课程使得不同地区的学生有了共同语言,相互之间可以分享某些课程中的难点,趣事等等,很快的拉进彼此之间的距离.统一课程还能减轻地区政府对教育工作不重视带来的不良后果,由国家强制的课程,不会因为有些官员的不负责任而不开设.
3.统一所有的课程是一个很难实现的目标.
一个国家的不同城市的发展程度不一样,有些很有用的课程需要一些昂贵的设备,一些贫穷的乡村学校就负担不起,可是因为这样就不让有能力的学校开设这样的课程是很荒谬的,对富裕地区好学的孩子们也不公平.另外,每个地区的文化程度不一样,上同样的课程,可能有些地区的孩子学起来完全没有问题,可是另外一些地方的孩子就学得非常痛苦,没有办法吸收.还有,一个国家很多民族,各个民族的习俗都不一样,政府应该保护这些宝贵的原始的习俗,而不是忽视它,尤其对中学生应该进行地方传统文化方面的教育.能把每个地方的民族特征考虑进来的课程很难制定.
4.一个较好的办法是,对大部分必要的重要课程定为全国性的课程,对受地区特性影响的其他课程,各个地区酌情考虑并制定自己的相关课程.

好多单词不认识...昏...................严重打击了我幼小的心灵..
过渡词用的挺好的..感觉层次很分明.嗯嗯.赞.

你的提纲写得很不错啊,我感觉我的文章都是一次大空话,你看我的另一篇就知道我的能力了,其实如果掐时间写,我可能写得很难的,这里写的都已一个半天的结果!
