my position: agree
1 in physical science,no skepticism, no progress. (Galileo)
2 in other fields of science (politics,sociology,law) we also need to be skepticism. (unjust)
3 even in arts, if we do not have a skepticism attitude towards precedent and chanllege their styles, there would be no creations.

1 social harmony is different from passively accepting what is already existing in the society.
2 questioning and criticizing can give people the ability to solve problems
3 there are some consistently difficult problems in current society that inhibits social harmony.

my view: challenging others' assertions do not necessarily conflict with social harmony, while compromise can be harmful to the improvement of the society.
1 the abilities such as critical thinking, analysis and creative problem-solving that is required to challenge others is key to both individuals and society. while compromise means no progress
2 admittedly, under certain circumstance, the contradiction to other's view can be counterproductive to the social harmony
3 if we communicate with others though reasonable discourse and debate
