The most effective way to communicate an idea or value to large groups of people is through the use of images, not language.

Which is the most effective way to communicate an idea or value to large groups of people? We have lots of ways of expressing our opinions and persuading others to accept our understanding to the value, such as languages, images and body languages as well.We have to analize all the advantages and disadvantages of these three ways above.What is more, there are several other effective ways to help us communicate with a great deal of people. We compare those three ones first.

Language is always a very effective way to spread an idea or value. As far as everyone knows,the speech which is full of passion and is famous for the golden words “I have a dream” has inflenced serveral generations so far. When Martin Luther King gave that impressive speech to the people in front of him, and everyone who has heard those powerful words was touched by his wonderful dream,there is no doubt that everyone has to admit the language helps a lot! Language is the best representive of our idea.The orel one expresses our emotions exactly while the written one records our minds for quite a long time. No other ways are more effective than the language, especially when you want to show your idea or value to the mass. Your tongue could tell everyone all of the facts and your tone could transfer your feeling to others directly. However, the language is not a perfect way to describe and under certain conditons, we also need other expression ways.

Try to totally understand a paint from Daviq is really hard for most of the people in a short time. The lines and colors puzzle us times and times. Although images can not tell us anything directly,it is still a very effective way when we want to describe some entities or some processes. One design paper from the architect is more persuasive than any words. One creative and colorful post pasted in the street attracts more costomers than the pale boring advertisment logos. Take the software industrial as an example, a sample image of the user application makes both the users and the developers get the general idea of the future software products much easier. One more example from the realm of the statics is the charts mean everything.

Sometimes body language is also a very effective way to express your idea and value.We can always watch the confident CEO of a world-wide company holding one of his fists tightly and moving it quickly to show his decided minds to his audiance. When the politicians give a speech to his or her people, they smile sometimes to express the meaning that the situation is not so bad or the future is promising.The actions of the actors or the actresses can always catch the eyes of the people who sit in front of the stages. Maybe you will hold the opponent idea that all the examples mentioned above can not prove that the body language can express ourselves indepedently. I don’t want to be against you, but one obvious example is the silent drama. All the actors and actresses didn’t speak in any kinds of language at all,but the audiance could get the idea of that drama finally. And you have to admit the body language plays an important part when we want to express the idea and value to large groups of people.

In a word, there is no the most effective way to communicate.As the coin has two sides, each way has its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, language, images, body language and other ways I didn’t mention in this article should be used sperately according to the real situations or be used together to satisfy the different kinds of needs.
