After the study of an academic discipline, claim the speaker, the way of our perceiving the world changes. I agree on the presentation that we will see the same world differently by studying the discipline, in a manner of much more deepness or width or even a completely new angle then before.

The study of an academic discipline will make a person perceive the world around with a more insightful view. As a child, a person treats the outside world as simple as his or her own mind for the boy or girl has been told and has experience not much. Older as the person gets, more and more will be taken into consideration.

Not an insightful point of view would be given after the study of discipline, but also the width of view would spread. I had feelings on this matter myself. I have taken a physic course when I was in high school. A topic in mechanics was about motion and energy. The way of solving such problems in Motion and energy was think over the mode at the beginning and in the end without notice on how an object work in the procedure of moving. When I had finish that course, I had an idea that there are more problems in the daily life which could be solved in such way as the motion and energy problems do. That is to say, I got another way when meet with a problem.   

Besides, the angle of man perceiving the world might probably alters for the matter of study on a discipline. In the modern world, bilingual person seems to be more and more in number over the world. That may probably contribute to a common sense is reached that language could alter the angel a human perceiving the world. A professor from Harvard University is just on the research of how the language change people's mind. Since language of every country contains culture of its nation and people, the manner of describe the same thing would possibly varies based on the condition of the very country. For instance, the description of white may be various in different countries: in the countries near the poles of the earth, as Canada or Norway, people may say 'white as snow', while in the area close to the equal, 'white as salt' would be a more perceivable saying. This just provides the variety from different location, difference in culture will be more complicated than this. So, angle of perceiving the world deferrers from the study we make on every single discipline.

In addition, as the discipline study changes the manner we see the world, how we perceive the world make influence on the discipline we study on the go. The Puritans suppose it is not legally to lead a life with much wine, cigarette, luxury or sex. It is the way to perceive the world changes how they study the discipline. When they study disciplines relating to such thesis, the canon will influence much on the study.

In conclusion, the study of an academic discipline alters the way we perceive the world, and vice the visa.
