It is individuality that contemporary society advocates and values in a majority of domains, especially in business. A growing number of people come to realize the benefits of individuality, as a consequence of this, not only do people increasingly attach greater importance to individuality, but they also strive to exhibit and present their own individualities in public. Individuality, in my view, is of great indispensability as well as benefit to both overall commodities and businessmen, though its opposite, conformity cannot be overlooked.

On one hand, individuality, a particular property, differs nearly every type of commodities from one another, which enable a certain commodity to capture consumers' attention. It is because the goods appealing to more customers are far more likely than the other to be purchased that individuality is able to bring more benefits to businessmen. It's no wonder businessmen make every effort to exhibit their commodities' individualities for promotion. For instance, they will emphasize the new fashion and style of a certain commodity, such as clothes, to customers especially girl and women customers who always prefer to wear fashionable clothes to present their individualities. Meanwhile, it usually does work that for the sake of promotion, shopkeepers portray certain digital products as new-fashioned and smart to those guys inclined to utilizing these hi-tech digital products.

On the other hand, it is individuality that differs various people from one another, and that helps to advance personal success profoundly. People with individuality are prone to behave and think different from the others, which render them possible to conceive of creative notions as well as take extraordinary actions. It is because such notions and actions that they are more likely than the others to succeed in their own domain, followed by a great deal of wealth and respect. Bill Gates, for example, as the founder and president of the eminent software corporation, Microsoft, once dropped out from Harvard University and then instituted Microsoft Corporation, which differed him from the overwhelming majority of undergraduates and was considered deviant. However, it is him who develop Microsoft into a super corporation and becomes the richest businessman in the world.

Admittedly, individuality is of great significance and usually likely to lead people to economic success, while its opposite, conformity is also indispensable as well as beneficial. When it comes to commodities and business, conformity can provide a uniform standard as well as regulations, to which a wide variety of goods and business should conform. Conformed to such standards, various commodities is more likely to be purchased by customers on the ground that these standards, involved quality, components, storage, usage and so forth, are acknowledged by relevant experts, departments and laws, which can ensure their quality and reliability. Besides, as for businessmen, acumen, constancy and courage are some conformities which nearly every successful businessmen share in common.

In sum, not only does conformity benefit commodities and people but individuality also plays a significant role in contributing to personal economic success, which are not necessarily mutually exclusive alternatives.

其实我对conformity的理解是共性，但感觉又有点怪怪的。不知是否可数。
另外想问问，on the other hand是否可表递进，还有巨型公司应该怎么翻译较好，我目前随便用的是super corporation，第三段最后一行，谢谢。

一方面另一方面在这里可以用，因为你说infividuality好只说了两个方面，分别从commodity 和 people来说，是可以的。但是这里有个问题，你这里的commodity是指？日用品？应该是公司吧想说corporation 吧.
