Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave soley to a group of professional educators. 父母和社会都必须参与到地方学校中。教育非常重要以至于不能把教育完全交给一群职业教育者。

Thesis: Different roles of parents, communities and schools in educaiton decide that parents and communities cannot be excessively involved in the local schools and it is better for professional educators of schools to perform education.

Conclusion: Education of children is an interaction process of parents, communities and schools. In the process, schools are mainly in charge of the formal education, and parents and communities also bring much influence on children.


In the whole education process of children, parents and communities, as well as schools, all respectively play a vital role to help children grow up and become mature. However, the different roles of parents, communities and schools decide that parents and communities cannot be excessively involved in the local schools and it is better for professional educators of schools to perform education.

The education children received first is almost coming from their parents, and so we regard parents as the first teachers of their children, which clearly shows that parents have a great impact on the education of their children. Since children begin to have interests towards the world, their knowledge about the world is basically derived from their parents. From then on, parents have told them what is right or wrong, taught them how to read and write, and let them learn vocabulary and sentences. It is parents that give children the original knowledge structure and base moral standards.

Besides parents, community influence is also very important to the education of children. Community is the life circumstances of children and the quality and atmosphere of community will effect on the grow-up of children. Every person they meet and every event children experience in the community will bring them the most direct impact on the world, and just from these persons and events children begin to learn how to communicate with people and how to deal with all kinds of matters. Furthermore, through taking part in the community services, children could realize their social responsibilities and accordingly are likely to be an accountable citizen in the future.

However, that parents and communities have direct influence on education of children does not mean that they can provide the best education for education as long as they involved in the local schools. Knowledge and other information children get from parents and communities are much different from those they learn from schools. The former is informal and scattered, and the latter is formal and systematical, which is why we would better let schools to perform education mainly.

Schools have the ample educational resources such as laboratories and discipline experts, which parents and communities are lack of, to develop the systematical and continuous education. Also, the professional educators have abundant instructional experience and scientific teaching methods, which can effectively and efficiently help children to grasp well-rounded and systematic knowledge, direct them how to positively and naturally socialize with others, and introduce them to know themselves and the whole world to help them hold a healthy viewpoint towards the society and life.

In sum, education of children is an interaction process of parents, communities and schools. In the process, schools are mainly in charge of the formal education, and parents and communities also bring much influence on children. It is best that with the help of parents and communities, schools and the professional educators will bring the best education to children.

呵呵，每次写作的时候总觉得自己词汇缺乏、句式单一，看来还得加强才行啊！

是不是可以从教育的目标谈起呢？
比如联合国教科文组织那段对教育的定义。help children learn how to know, how to do, how to get together, how to be. 我觉得前两者mainly determined by educational professors,后两者应该是the responsibility of parents and community.
