The complaisance of the law is an indispensable element which is needed to sustain a society's daily function. It is every citizen's responsibility to obey just laws and disobey unjust laws which is even more important and its implementation challenges more to every citizen.

Just laws whose institution is based on social mores and moral standards usually represent the benefit of the most people in society. It can provide the citizen certain rules and guidance to help them leading happy and healthy lives. Therefore, the obeying of the just laws is indispensable and imperative. For instance, there are some evil associations existing in every country. Without the guidance of the government, many people would still have the wrong beliefs and they might end up in doing harm to themselves as well as to societies. After the new law is carried out, the evil association will be banned, thus, by in complaisance with the law, people will benefit from it.

Every individual should resist unjust laws, since this action will do good to both himself and society. No one can promise a new instituted law is just and can realized its goal before it is actually put into use. On the process of its institution, there can be some deviances in it. When US passed the unfair law whose purpose is to restrict the right status of the blacks, Martin Luthor King spared all his effort to resist the carrying out of that unjust law. With the arduous struggle for many black people, the unjust law was finally revised by the authority. This can vividly illustrate that it is every individual's concern and obligation to resist unjust laws.

To obey the just laws is important, whereas how to deal with the unjust laws weigh more important. It is much easier for a citizen to obey a law than to challenge one. The memory of World War Two is still a fresh memory in most people's minds, Hitler helped setting the laws which aimed to realize his personal ambition. This kind of law proved wrong and cruel. It is reported in history that in that period in Germany, most people did not agree with the law. However, most of them chose to remain silent. If they can get together and muster their courage to resist the unfair laws, the history may have been rewritten and the tragedy of the war may have been avoided.

In the last analysis, the existing laws can be separated into two parts, the just ones and unjust ones. The obeying of the just laws is important whereas how to do when the individual is facing the unjust laws is more challenged and weigh more importance.
