TOPIC: ISSUE87 - "In any field of inquiry, the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important discoveries."
WORDS: 487

平衡观点
1 确实在很多领域,新手取得了比专家更大的成功,因为相对于专家,新手更有干劲和创新精神,愿意怀疑和挑战已经被专家接受的理论和观点,而专家却不得不面对诸多的干扰Einstein,Newton

The beginner or the expert, the speaker gives us an alternative choice. In some fields of inquiry, it is true that novice who is imagination, creative is more likely than the expert to make great breakthrough. Nevertheless, without experience and expert's guiding, novice usually confronts several difficulties which prevent them to make important discoveries. In my point of view, it is necessary to make cooperation between novice and expert in order to achieve success.

Actually, novice has a quality of creative and enthusiastic, and thus in some fields of inquiry, they are more likely to acquire important discoveries. The novice prefers to suspect and challenge views which are authentic and accepted by most of people. It is just this susceptive spirit that prompt the entirely society. Considering physical scientist Albeit Einstein is a property example. When his theory of relativity challenges the Newton classical theory which was authentic and nearly unquestionable, he suffered from other scientists' misunderstand and laughing of ignorant ones. However, his theory was eventually accepted by all the scientists worldwide and makes a great influence on our era. On the other hand, famous experts have to deal with endless interviews and conference; even a part of them perhaps pursue fame and profits, so that there is little time to make any research. In sum, to some degree, novice can obtain larger attainment than some of experts.

However, many novices, lacking of experience and accumulated knowledge which are experts' advantages, are fail to make many significant discoveries, especially in those inquiries which require accumulated knowledge and abundant experience. So no matter how time changes, never should the importance of experts be disregard as out of fashion. Sometimes, in order to gain fame and respect, novice prefers to focus on some fields which are easy to study but contain little meanings. Truth tells us, the most of Nobel Prize winners are dedicate to research for long years. Due to their experience and knowledge, experts conquer the challenge from science, economics and other field of inquiries one by one, and then make a great contribution on our well-develop society.

Therefore, the best method to obtain success is the cooperation between experts and beginners. Although experts already have fame and research fruit, they still should learn from novice's spirit of never giving up and the quality of imagination; Despite freshmen own strong passion and are not afraid of fail, they also need guiding from experienced experts who can introduce them to choose correct researching direction and give them suggestions. Only with the cooperation between experts and beginners, the process of society can develop constantly and the spirit of prudent and creative will be inherited by generations.

To sum up, the beginner and the expert both have their indispensable features in different inquiry, so that it is necessary to draw a open cooperation and a tight communication between the beginner and the expert.

The beginner or the expert, the speaker gives us an alternative choice. In some fields of inquiry, it is true that novice who is imagination /imaginative, creative is more likely than the expert to make great breakthrough [这一句里出现了太多的is有些不好看,建议将主语从句变为形容词放在主语前面]. Nevertheless, without experience and expert's guiding, novice usually confronts several difficulties which prevent them to /from make /making important discoveries. In my point of view, it is necessary to make cooperation [make cooperation 似乎有点weird,我也想不到合适的词,可以换个句型]between novice and expert in order to achieve success.

Actually, novice has a quality of creative and enthusiastic[这两个词都应该是名词吧creativity 和 enthusiasm], and thus in some fields of inquiry, they are more likely to acquire important discoveries. The novice prefers to suspect and challenge views which are authentic and accepted by most of people. It is just this susceptive spirit that prompt the entirely society. Considering physical scientist Albei/rt Einstein is a property example. When his theory of relativity challenges the Newton classical theory which was authentic and nearly unquestionable, he suffered from other scientists' misunderstanding and laughing of ignorant ones. However, his theory was eventually accepted by all the scientists worldwide and makes/exerts a great influence on our era. On the other hand, famous experts have to deal with endless interviews and conferences; even a part/some of them perhaps[把perhaps放在句首感觉会更流畅一些] pursue fame and profits, so that there is little time to make any research. In sum, to some degree, novice can obtain larger attainment [个人认为,attainment 已经含有达到获得的意思,再用obtain是否有些累赘?]than some of experts.

However, many novices, lacking of experience and accumulated knowledge which are experts' advantages, (are) fail to make many significant discoveries, especially in those inquiries which require accumulated knowledge and abundant experience. So no matter how time changes, never should the importance of experts be (dis)regarded as out of fashion[这句话也有点拗口,不能说专家的重要性被认为是过时的吧。可以改成:无论时代如何变迁,都不能忽视了专家的重要性]. Sometimes, in order to gain fame and respect, novice prefers to focus on some fields which are easy to study but contain little meanings. Truth tells us, (the) most (of) Nobel Prize winners (are) dedicate to research for long years. Due to their experience and knowledge, experts conquer the challenge from science, economics and other field of inquiries one by one, and then make a great contribution on/to our well-develop society.

Therefore, the best method to obtain success is the cooperation between experts and beginners. Although experts already have fame and research fruit, they still should learn from novice's spirit of never giving up and the quality of imagination; Despite the fact that freshmen own strong passion and are not afraid of failure, they also need guiding from experienced experts who can introduce/help them to choose correct researching direction and give them suggestions. Only with the cooperation between experts and beginners, (the process of) society can develop constantly and the spirit of prudent/prudence and creative/creativity will be inherited
(by) generation by generation.

To sum up, the beginner and the expert both have their indispensable features in different inquiry, so that it is necessary to draw a open cooperation and a tight communication between the beginner and the expert.
