how long will it take for the graduate school to send me the I-20 normally?

I have got an addimission and decided to go to this school. However, the graduate school told me that they need the bankstatement. Now I have got the bankstatement and I have a question, if all my materials is already, how long will it take for the graduate school to send me the I-20 normally? Because I came to USA as F-2 in March,2007, and want to change to F-1 in June. Someone said that F-2 should stay at least three monthes in USA and then can change the status to F-1. I think it may be better if I get the I-20 a little bit late, maybe in May.
