After the industrial revelution,the second technological revolution,and most recently the digital revolution,technologies are
assuming increasly important influence to social customs and ethics.However,the development of the technologies is so fast
that it seems that the technologies have the tendency to determine our social customes and ethics,which may lead to
unreparable tragedy.As a result,our society must try to lead the way in which the techonologies are developing to a more
benefitial and safer way.

Admittdly,technologies do have great influence on social customes and ethics:the break-through in technology is always the
trigger of social customs and ethics.Industrial revelution not only changed the poor peasants to richer workers and
enterprisers but also changed the status of women,it forced women to change from house wives to resplendent careers in
factories,companies,governments,etc,which gave them the oppertunity to fight for more and more rights and social status from
men.Another conspicuous change is the way people dress.Thanks to the fast-pace life style and more international business
activities,glorious but inconvenient racial costumes gave way to business suits and jeans which are more common-accepted and
convenient.the style of family life are changing too.People used to stay with family members most of the day and have dinner
together with other family members,however,as the work life are increasing busy that people do have little time to stay at
home and the chance of having big dinner in family are becoming less and less.Instead,many people eat fast food at work and
family is nothing but house to sleep.

From the previous paragraph we have seen the powerful force the technology put on the social customs and ethics.Actually,the
technologies are developing so fast that may be one day it would have the ability to determine our social customs and
ethics,which may lead to unreparable tragedies.the technology of internet,for example,try to determine the way people live
and work.More and more people become computer worms and hardly get out of home to touch the open air,they squander thier time
in virtual stuff like computer network games and chating with unknown heterosexual people.What's more,nowadays' internet are
replete with sites about child pornography,which has arousen serious ethical debates about the psychological health problems
of the adolescent on internet.Things are also serious in the field of Biotechnology.At the begining,the idea of
trasplantation of man-made organs was seriously condemned by the moralists and religen believers.However,these kind of
surgeries are widely accepted and used in today's hospitals.Nowadays,quite a few scientists in the world are trying to clone
human beings by cultivating the stem cells,which may lead to more serious tragedies like race revolution disasters and
turnover of the system of customes and ethics.

Consequently,our society,our human beings must try every method to lead the way in which our technologies developed.Our
governments shoud moniter the newly released webpages in order to prevent certain kind of webpages which are detrimental to
our society.Besides,search engines should block these certain sites too.In the field of Biotechnology,also our governments
should regulate the researchment on the level of genetics,besides,our scientists must have the idea of being responsible to
our human species,any kinds of researchment must follow the premise that never have the possibility to do harm to our human
beings as well as the social customes and ethics.Fundamentally,our society must instill certain basic
values:compassion,virtue and humanity,which can lead us to think twice before develop controversial technologies,to our
offsprings in school.

In sum,although technologies usually influence our scoial customes and ethics in a healthy way,it may try to determine social
customs and ethics and then do harm to our human lives.We should utilize our fundamental values like compassion, virtue and
humanity to develop the technologies and never be controled by them.
