According to the tradition of the universites and colleges located in North American, the admission decision will be post online, like Princeton or email to you. Only few of them will insist in mailing you via postal services.

So most schools will mail you the decision and post online simatonesly. However, if you got admitted by a top one, say, Princeton, for instance, that the admission committee will send you an email to notify you before the advent of the regular postal services.

So you needn't to look up the results online yourself,
