这两篇是两个人写的同一个作文 167题 问学校投资钱在图书馆上 是投资书还是电脑。。大伙帮忙评下哪个好些 谢谢了
第一篇
Having enough money to invest the libraryis an exciting thing to any universities. How to use this money is also adifficult choice. If one has to choose one between computers and books whenmaking investment, I personally believe that the best option is the computer becausecomputers not only provide students convenient but also save money for theuniversity.
First, a computer offer the students a veryconvenient way of study. With the computer one will have no trouble finding anydata of the library he/she wants to further my study by using the search systemand the digital information. If the library does not have enough computers, however, searching for the large amount of data is not an easy task for everystudent. one have to spend nearly half a day in the library wandering in thebook shelves, finding the right book he/she want from the reference stacks ,and even carry these books , perhaps weight for 20 pound in gross, commuting betweenthe library and his/her classroom. This, of course, is the waste of time andenergy. On the other hand, a computer would make us searching the informationin the library everywhere by using the internet, even out of the university, regardlessthe strict off duty time and the situation of the library. And we even do not need to consider the overdueand fine by downloading the PDF digital books for the library’s website.
The second reason why invest money on thecomputer is the best choice because the digital system in the library wouldsave money for the university. Firstly, without enough computers, a library hasto buy many same books, such as the schoolbooks and fundamental reference bookswhich are needed for many classes, to meet the need of the students. Thesebooks would waste a lot of money in the university in the long run. But, if alibrary has enough computer and internet system, the university only needs tobuy the copyright from the publishing companies and provide the digital editionsto the students. Secondly, computer is a good assistant for the people; it isalso for the library, too. Almost all of the old libraries have the problem of theexpense of too many employees, and computers help, because with these excellentassistants, a library does not need a large number of
While, in comparing to the books, thecomputers also have many disadvantages, it is very fragile to the virus forinstance, I believe that the benefits are overweight the defects. If we takethe proper precaution, such as installing anti-virus software and making copiesfor the data, the students and the university stand to benefits.
第二篇
Purchasing computers for students or booksfor the library seems a difficult decision to make. Some people would prefer tobuy computers, while others would rather buy books. After several years ofbeing a student, I have come to the conclusion that paying money for books isbetter than purchasing computers.
As we all know, the new technology ischanging faster and faster. With this constantly changing technology, computersare easy to depreciate. It’s very crackpot and bothersome for the school to upgradetheir computers in time. And then there is no guarantee for the students tolearn on the best technology. Spending time learning the over-date knowledge isa waste of time and money. It’s unnecessary for the student to have a goodcommand of the computers when he or she is in the school now. This situationmay make them lack some experience on this, but they are quick in learning. Sothey can learn this subject after graduation.
Nothing is appropriate for all. So arecomputers. It is, however, hardly true that without excellent software, thecomputers are good-for-nothing. Obviously, the excellent software is almostgreatly expensive. For example, in this year, Microsoft develops a newoperating system “Windows Vista”. In the digital market, buying one may costyou over 2000 Yuan. While one would like to say that we can buy the piraticalsoftware by a little money, it could not be a long-term way. For instance, “Rising”,antivirus software, which is very popular in China.Once you buy a piratical one, if a new virus comes out, it does not work, becausepiratical software cannot upgrade on the internet. Under this situation, thepiratical software has not any use, and there is no doubt that computer is atrash. Computer must pay for many incidental fees such as the cost of networkcard and repairs. If the school does not have a lot of extra money, thecomputer may not be the best choice.
Books have more of positive than a negativeeffect. Convenience is not necessarily the most important reason for thecomputers. Computers are much more useless than complex. Although theinformation on the internet is greatly abundant, there is an apparent problemthat you have to spend your own time to choose the needed information.Secondly, you have to admit that abundance does not mean integrity andspecialty. At this point, the book is totally better than the computer.Sometimes, thick books even more books all expatiate upon one thing. This isvery helpful for the students to understand the knowledge deeply. When booksare published, most of them are very authoritative. That is very important forthe students. Besides, the book is greatly convenient for the students toschlep. As the student does not finish reading the book at school, they canalso take them home to continue to do it.
Accordingly, in my opinion, I prefer tospend money on books rather than computers. In addition to the reasons listedabove, it is important to note that, computers have many draws for the studentswho do not have a adult Weltanschauung, which may lead forward somethingtrouble. Neither do the books. So purchasing books is the better choice.
