先道个歉，最近很忙，早上6点多就出门一直到晚上10点半后才能回，所以对你的修改也是利用睡前这一部分时间零零碎碎修改的，拖了好几天，对不起。作业也才补上。请4号原谅。

During our life time, we received many gifts for many different occasions, andby different people. But there is one thing in common—all of us are happy toreceive gifts and, without doubt, remember them for long. 开头不错，赞一下
On one hand, some gifts remind us of great events happened in our lives. Abirthday gift recalls happy time when we at different ages. An anniversary giftlooks back on every memorable event in the past year. When we graduate—nomatter we shall go further education or begin to work, we may receive gifts aswell. These gifts are full of bless and great joy.  One of my mostmemorable gifts is a Bobby toy. Dan and mom gave me the Bobby toy after I wonthe first prize on a rhythm gymnastic competition. I valued this gift notbecause of(去掉) it was a Bobby toywhich I yearned for a long time. I valued it because it embodied theirinspiration and encouragement to me. Also, every time I look at the Bobby, itevokes that glory time.

On the other hand, some gifts become our precious memories about some people.For example, when I graduated from high school, my Chinese teacher gave me acard as a present. In the card, she wrote some word (words)to express good will to me and wish me have a promising future. Even afteryears, I can still remember, in the high school, how she taught me patiently atthe merely have a glimpse at this card.  Another case is a book,which written by one author I admire so much. Last year, I had an occasional(去掉)chance to have a quick talk with him. After the conversation, he gave me thebook as a gift. Apparently, this book records the exciting talk and thekindness he was. One more good case is a wallet I use now. It is a valentinegift given by my ex boyfriend. Although we have broken up for many reasons, thewallet always tells me we did have a happy time.

All of these special gifts we have received are signs of endless love and careor a symbol of invaluable of the one who has received it. Therefore, they havea great value for us and become precious pieces of our memories.

Some people argue as if it is a general truth that subjects like art, music,and drama should be an indispensable part to every student. But to be veryfrank, I cannot agree with them. There are numbers reasons, and I would exploreonly a few primary ones here.

The main problem with this argument is that it is ignorant to the basic factthat not all the children are suitable for studying courses like art, music,drama and so on. It has already been accepted that the study of art neednatural endowments. Take Mozart for example, he is a genius through andthrough. No one can with Mozart as a talented musician. We have to accept thissad truth that not every child has gift in art. Therefore, if parents orteachers compel children to do something that they never willing to, adverseeffect would occur.

Another reason why I disagree with the above statement is that consideringthese subjects to be a part of basic education, may seriously hinder childrento develop other aspect of horizon, such as science, sports, etc. Although notevery child has a gift in art, as I just discussed before, they may be superiorin some other fields, such as mathematics, physics, philosophy and the listwill go on. Newtonis a good case to support this point of view. So, instead of driving childrento study art, it is better for adults to learn children better, to find theirreal interests and advantages, and then, strengthen them. Newton的例子可以展开一下
What is more, based on our common senses, the tuition of these courses isexpensive. Not every family can afford it. It is an inconvenient factor thatattending to these classes may become heavy load of a family. 这一点感觉怪怪的，学费是统一交的吧，不会因为选了这些学科而加收。
In a word, despite learning art can shape children’s character, I stronglybelieve that art-related courses needn’t to be every child’s basic education.


DELTA小作文

The lecture provides the additional specific information concerning the reasonpeople travel to distant lands. The reading passage indicates that people havetraveled across the earth for many different reasons. 可以加一句话表明两者之间的关系Thereading passage first points out purpose of long distant traveling in history,like searching for resources to live on, religions pilgrimages, trade expansionand colonization. These activities are also a spur to tourism expansion. Latertravelers had trips for cultural, educational and scientific, and even later,for adventure.

The professor echoes these facts, and then further discusses the influence ontourism by Ernest Hemingway. He also talks about some changes in tourism today.He says that tourists today having trips are for pleasure and recreation ratherthan conquering or controlling the natural. Nowadays, many new kinds oftourisms come out. One is the ethnic tourism and another is environmentaltourism. Both of these are natural-friendly and harmless to wild life.
最好不要分开写，没有连贯性。而且貌似没有结尾啊，与大作文相比，小作文要逊色些。

口语：
1.早上还是下午运动那道，can we….那一句语调太平了，要升上去，毕竟你说的是反问句。第三点理由有点奇怪，早上也可以洗澡啊。其他两点内容不错。
2.good place to live不错，三点很全，而且很流畅
3.job那道，也感觉没什么问题
4.交通那道，点子很好
5. online course那道，drop out那一点说的太少了，
6. culture
7. 担心考试的那道，连用几个so，小毛病，待改进
8.water那道，忍不住要赞一下，呵呵，我当时听到alga但是不知道是什么意思没敢用，而且觉得挺难的，第一遍录的惨不忍睹，后来对照答案重录了，汗！

总体：
感觉你的作文进步很大，呵呵，不过最开始你的基础就不错，我经常看你的作文。口语的话，内容很全了，也很连贯，如果考试能像这样正常发挥，估计要大于24分左右了。呵呵，向你学习。

Everybody must have received aspecial present. Whatever puerpose it (its purpose) isor whoever gives(sends,因为你后面还有一个give) it, it must give us amemory, either deep or superficial. There are some reasonable explanations forthis phenomenon.

First of all, a special gift can make me remember some thing. A special giftsuch as 20 year-old birthday presents given by my parents, a photo given by myclassmates as a graduation present, or a book given by some(my)teacher as an encouragement for the high-grades on (highgrade in) the final test. Those (These)kinds of gifts may be well kept away(防范之意，用在此处不妥) in the closet or someother places, but if(要么去掉if要么去掉once) I once see them, Iwill remembet (remember) the moment when I wasso moved. For example, when I find my watch from my parents as a 20 year-oldbirthday gift, I must be touched and resolve to strive my best in my study. I knew(前面是现在时态，所以这里也要保持一致) that from that momenton, I was a adult, and I should dependent on myself.

Besides, a special gift can make me remember a person. For instance, I have apen from my teacher as a good praise for performing well in the semester. Ihave never used(use) it, and I put it away onmy desk. I was not a good student in the junior middle school, but after Irecognized the inportance(importance) of study,I study much harder. Then I made a obvious progress, my teacher told me that ifI was better than past, I would gain a lot besides a pen. Since then, I try mybest on everything, and every moment i see the pen, I will remember my teacherwho gave me a so useful suggestion. 这个例子不够精炼，这一段的核心应该是想起一个人，所以花在细节上的文字不要太多了。

What ever the gift is, as long as if can help meremember something, it must be a meaningful gift, I insist. 这个结尾我看着觉得很费解，不知道你本意是什么？

In the lecture, the professor make several points about thehuman travelling.
First of all, in the lecture I know that people's travel is for adventure orpersonal enrichment. However,  in the reading I know that peopletravelled in the past in order to search for many kinds of things.
Second, the professor tells that people travle for entertainment and learning alot of aboriginal cultures. And in the passage, I know that people travel alsoin order to expand their culture horizons.
Finally, I get from the lecture that people travle(travel)for environment tourism. However, the reading tells that travellers(travelers) want to observe well life whichare not been not observed before.
字数严重不够。Travel这个词貌似一直不知道正确拼写。

Nowadays, the competition in the society are becoming more and more firece(fierce), So people such as children, youth,or even adults, need to learn more things than even before. 这两个句子之间没有过度，显得很突然阿There is a debate whether children shouldlearn such subjects as art, music, and drama. In my view, I think child shouldstudy those subjects.
First of all, it can bring them (provide children)a lot of knowledge like music, art, or drama. What apity that I have no chance to study those subjects in my childhood. (感觉这句话有点太口语化了) I really like those subjects, So(so) I choose to study them in my spare time. But I have noformal education on those subjects, so it (is) fairly hard for me to get a deep insight intothose subjects. So(连续使用了3次) it is lucky forthese children if they have a chance to touch those types of subjects in aearly age, and they can develop their ability or broaden their knowledge. 这段有点没展开，太拘束了。
Besides, it can help children cultivate a sense of appreciation for the beauty.A child, who has learned art, can know what kind of object is favorable bypeople through his insight for beauty; he can also differenciate(differentiate) two similar melodoes(melodies)after he learned music(能区分两种调子有什么用？); he is able to understand the drama and even(去掉。既然说understand了，那么应该也能抓到戏剧主题了) get the theme of it. Those thing(things)may be considered as a legend for those children who have not studiedart, music, drama, and so on.最后一句有点夸张Finally, it can help childrenalleviate the study pressure. If a child learnd(learned) nothing in the schoolbesides the normal classes such as maths, english, chinese(首字母大写), etc. It is reasonable that most of the children willfeel boring and even some of them will hate studying. So if they have someother interesting classes like music, art, drama, they will feel that school isa good place because there are varieties of subjects they can learn. Then thechildren will feel relax (relaxed) at schooljust as at home. It is important for the children's grown-up that studyingwithout pressure or insatisfactory(unsatisfactory).
In a word, I believe it can bring lots of advantages to the children withoutany disadvantages. For the sake of the children, I insist to adopt the policyto make the children study those subjects.
感觉常见词汇有时会拼写错误，然后文章的段落内部不够连贯，有点过于发散了。

1.exercise那道貌似就说了一点理由啊
2. job那道，开头改一下，要提到perfect，否则显得主旨不明，印象分就丢了。理由不错
3.workshop那道，内容全了，次序乱了，应该关系不大吧？
4.sleep没讲完，后面那一部分没讲好，两个点，一个是consolidate，还有一个是recover没有体现出来。
5. 复习考试那道，好像漏了一点。
6. communication那道，communication发音时要注意，不要把tion的音给吞了
7. 篮球那道，没有描述，on the line不知道是虾米意思，呵呵
8. 交通那道，如果后来时间不多了，就不要提第三点了，来个总结好了
9.online course漏了点啦
10.culture那道，时间没把握好噢，另外en的停顿多了点
11. 工作与考试那道，说得不错，只是少点en可能更好
12. water那道漏了很多点，说得不好

口语应该是你进步最快的了，呵呵，内容上有很大的提高。继续努力！口语要注意的问题：1. 综合口语要把握好时间，不能到最后还有点没说到，情愿少说点也要把内容弄全。2. en的声音要减少，影响听者对内容的理解。3. 不要随便吞音，单词的音要发到位，再注意轻读和重读。4. 声音小了点。5. 录音的时候身体不要晃动，导致你的声音时大时小的。

首先道歉！严重破坏小组纪律了，没有按时交作业和改作业。前几天太忙了，基本没有时间学习 。1号和4号没时间不用改了，就当是惩罚我吧。呵呵。此外，delta的大作文我没有写，因为觉得和以前我们写过的185题库里的第125题很相似，所以我另外找了一道题写了。

Since we are small children, we begin to receivemany special gifts, which are given to celebrate or memorize some importantthings such as birthday, first day of attending school, a progress in study,and long time departure with a friend. These gifts perpetuate our memory andtranslate into a cherished treasure in life.
Usually, special gifts are a part of a special event. Theycan remind us of those special days such as holidays, anniversaries,friendship, family, wedding, inspiration and many more. What’s more, we cherishthose gifts because they present our happiness and past which are the sweetestmemory in our life. For example, a wedding president of delicate tableware takesus back to the happy wedding, and then we indulge ourselves in recollecting ourhelpmate’s tender gaze, best wishes from relatives and friends, bundles of beautifulroses, and palatable wedding cake. Also, a beautiful Christmas card made by ourfriends reminds us of the joyful days we shared together. And a memento from arespected colleague makes us remember the job we worked on successfullytogether.
Moreover, despite of giving us special memory, specialgifts are a wonderful way to remember someone who has meant so much to us. Thesegifts are not the type of gifts that can be forgot on a daily basis. In fact, theyalways remind us of the special person that cares for us, protects us, and lovesus abundantly. What’s more, these gifts allow us to visualize our loved ones’presence ever near us. Every time when I see the skirt my dead grandmother madefor me for my 10th birthday, I feel like she is sitting at me, fondlingmy hair softly, and looking kindly at me.
Also, some special gifts have profoundmeaning, which is largely beyond the common memory of a special moment or aspecial person. Such gifts were given by government or some organizations tothose who donate a great deal of money to the poor, make significant scientificprogress to improve human’s life, and volunteer to participate a benevolentprogram to Africa to help people who are suffering a AIDS. We treasure thesegifts more because they show us the meaning of life.
In sum, special gifts that are important tous are the ones that remind us of family, friends and happy times, and provideus with the significance of life. They’re our heart treasures all our life.

由于没写delta的大作文，我自己从185里边找了个题目练笔。不是不服从队长的安排，确实是时间紧，想多练几个主题。请队长谅解。

第一次写的时候用时29分钟，写了420多字，另外花了3分钟修改，所以超时了，郁闷一下。 后来室友提了意见，又改了一下，没想到字数激增，呵呵，不管了，考试的时候少写一点就行了。练习的时候多些点总是好事。
Obviously, the first teachers we have inour lives in most cases are our parents. They teach us to walk, to speak, andto have good manners before we touch the real world. They are generally themost involved in the development of children. However, when it comes to makeimportant decisions for 15-18 year-old children, I think parents or otherrelatives should not make these for them.
It is true that not all the decisions aremade by 15-18 year-old teenagers themselves. For example, decision of whetherbuy the car perhaps is made by their parents, for teenagers have no income nowand have to turn to their parents. Also, other decisions which refer to economicconditions are usually made by parents. However, for 15-18 year-old teenagerswho are senior high school students, important decisions are mainly choosing theirmajor in future career and college to attend. Such decisions should made bythemselves.
15-18 year-old Teenagers have enough experiencesto make important decisions for the 15-18 year life enable them know human joysand sorrows, success and failure. Happiness of share joyful things with parentsand friends makes them cherish love and life. Success in study encourage themmake a good plan for future. Praise of excellent performance in part-time jobs givethem confidence to challenge themselves. On the other hand, they gain a lotfrom lessons of failing in an exam because of laziness, misunderstandingbetween friends due to breaking a promise, and serious aftermath of impetuousdecisions. Thus, they can be deliberate and sane when make decisions.
Moreover, 15-18 year-old teenagers shoulddevelop the ability of making decision, especially the important ones, bythemselves. Since most of them are going to attend college soon, the ability ofindependence is required. Making important decisions by themselves helps themto develop independence. Such experience, in turn, will improve the ability ofanalyzing and solving problems. However, if parents make important decisionsfor their children all the time, teenagers will become dependent. They feel afraid,cowardly or halting when they have to make decisions.
Also, if teenagers make decisions bythemselves, they can choose something they interested in, without the inappropriatecontrol by parents. All too often we observe some parents tend to pursue theircherished but failed dream by forcing their children to develop in a prearrangeddirection. Ironically, when their children do not follow the instructions, thechildren will be regarded as disobedient. As a result, teenagers can seldomfind anything they truly interested in. They lack a drive force to pursue theirfuture.
Besides, parents or other adult relativesshould give some guidance to their children on making important decisions. Thiscan provide children with suggestion and prevent them form making unreasonabledecisions, since parents have more experience than children.
In sum, 15-18 year-old teenagers shouldmake important decisions by themselves, for they are able to do this, and theyshould develop the ability of independence, they can also find interest infuture.

小作文 好乱啊，严重超时了
In the lecture,the professor made several points about the goals of travel. The professorargues that earlier people travel for conquest and later people travel forpleasure or observing nature. However, the reading contends that people travelfor political or economic purposes. The professor’s lecture casts doubt on thereading by using a number of points that are contrast to the idea in thereading material.
The first point that the professor used to cast doubt on the reading is thatpeople in the early time traveled for conquest purpose. He illustrates that ErnestHamingway who was also mentioned in the reading traveled to Africanot for adventure. According to the lecture, Hemingway’s travel actuallyillustrates the conquest idea in tourism. His influence can be still seen intourism today, especially in sports that involve conquest nature like huntingand fishing. This point differs from the reading in that the reading states earlierpeople travel for adventure.
Another point that the professor used to cast doubt on the reading is peoplenowadays travel for pleasure or in order to observe and learn nature. Theprofessor claims that people travel a distant place as well as unusual culture.He gives an example of travel to Africa. Heillustrates that people travel to Africa forits traditional wildlife such as social customs, arts, crafts and localceremonies. Also, the professor points out that some people travel to someplaces where few people have gone in order to observe and learn nature. He usesthe example of travel to Africa again. Thesepeople go to Africa for goal of observingphotograph of wildlife but not kill it. However, the reading states peopletravel for political or economic purpose. The point is contradicted by the ideain the lecture.
In conclusion, the fact that early people travel for conquest and later peopletravel for pleasure and observing and learning nature demonstrates that the ideaof people travel for political and economic purposes is in doubt.

终于把第九次作业补全了，呵呵，阅读和听力的任务也顺利完成了，结果还不错。好开心呀，吃晚饭去啦。
