TOPIC: ISSUE 51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

1.人学自己感兴趣的知识的时候比学不感兴趣的知识要快。
2.人在面对强大需求的时候,迫于强大的压力,也会很快地接受知识。
3.满足所有人兴趣的教学会影响整体进度

I agree with the speaker that it would be truly effective when education is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. From experience we know that people learn faster at the subject they like, and at the skills they urgently need. Nevertheless, this theory will actually slow down the pace of public education when it put into practice not to mention how scare the possibility of satisfy everyone’s need and interests.

Unquestionable, interest gives positive influence on the process of study, it brings good mood, the curiosity about the knowledge, and effective at the same time. That is based on the human nature, interest can stimulate the passion of study, can give you extra energy when you get tired, can let you feel more self- accomplishment. For supporting example, children learns fast because they always full of curiosity about the world. They acquire numerous fresh knowledge everyday without feeling stressful.

From self experience I can point out that the individual need sometimes turn to a powerful engine. Strong need brings about invisible pressure which press you to think as fast as you can, understand as well as you can. A simple instance will easily approve this: several weeks before the school’s final examination is the most efficient study time for most students, some student can get a high score by working hard in this time even if they never studied before. They study for not to fail, for get remarkable scholarships, for win their competitions or just for showing to their parents. The personal need is the accelerate of study.

However, some people are waste their time by the education which is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student. Since the majority of people were take class in public school, where students having class together at the same time, satisfy each student’s interests also means giving each student others interests. For the whole class this is undeniable ineffective, and for the student this can narrow his further development.

The above follows the conclusion that meet everybody’s interest is not effective internal. Thus unless the public education change revolution ally, the developing technical bring us a new study mode which people will not study together any more, people should solve the diploma by study survive skills which are basically the same at school, learning their variety interest at their spare time. Getting their needs and interests from different place to get the most effective result.
