"A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer."


提纲：
1．   有保留的同意，对于基础课程，应该全国统一，对于个别课程，可允许不同地区的不同学校各自制定
2．   共同课程有利于不同地方的学生掌握相同知识
3．   共同课程有利于消除贫困地区学生的自卑心理，增加自信，使得他们求学的机会平等
4．   共同课程有利于各高校统一录取学生，给出一个统一的尺度
5．   共同课程有利于历史文化等知识的传播和普及
6．   对于一些适当的课程，应该同时允许各个学校根据不同的需要和实际情况制定自己的课程


作文：
Some academic professionals think it may be better for all students to learn the same curriculum before they enter college. In my view, I think it has many advantages in basic curriculum, while in some other curriculum, it still can be allowed local schools to determine the course according to their real circumstances.

First of all, same courses can help students in different places to master the same knowledge, especially for basic courses. For example, in China, so different in East and West it is. In the east of China, most students learn English when they are pupil, while in the west of China, students have a handshake with English course for the first time when they enter middle school; in the east of China, many pupils learn to play piano when they are five years old or even younger, while in the west of China, most of students can not touch any key of the piano before they enter college; in the east of China, most children grow up with the imagination of the sky, while in the west of China, sky is blue or black only for almost all of the children.... Because of so many differences, same courses are very important for all of the children. It means all of the nationwide students can learn the same knowledge. For students in depressed area, even they can not put all course into practice, they can learn the same contents from the textbook at least. Besides this, it brings much more convenience for students to learn from each other through network. For example, a student from Haerbin can ask a student from Hainan for a mathematic question, the same course is the base for such dream, while network is a platform for it. It will help students to get over the knowledge more quickly.

Second, same courses can help depressed area students to increase confidence and can make they feel more equal with other area students. Because all of the students learn the same course, they stand in same starting line. All of their obtainment will be determined by their efforts. It can make depressed area students to decrease the sense of inferiority and help them to achieve higher achievements. A survey conducted by Peking University for depressed area students reported that about 63% college students come from depressed area have an excellent entrance examination mark in base courses, and because of it, most of them are superiority in the college. It tells us that same courses give poor students not only an equal chance for knowledge, but also a great help for their psychology.

Third, same courses can help college and university to arrive at a common view about the enrolling standard for all the nation's students. Because there are same courses, university and college will have a common criterion of judgment and method for all of the nationwide students. Thus, colleges can choose the students more easily and equally. For this reason, it also an equal chance for depressed area students.

Fourth, same courses can help national culture to spread more quickly. If the basic cultures are joined into the line of same courses, then all of students in the nation can learn it, it can be go through generation by generation, it will help culture's development.

Although there are many advantages for same course in all of the country, there are still some disadvantages, it can be replenish with unique courses plan of local school. Different parts have different needs, we don't hope all of the students are the same, thus, we need some other course to show different style of different parts' culture. For example, in the minority group, it can be added some courses about group culture, it will help later generations to understand their culture well.

Thinking over above all, it should be allow students to learn the same base course and unique some other course.
