*a person who evaluates works of art, such as novels, films, music, paintings, etc.

Everyone must admit that artist ,such Leonardo Da Vinci,brought a lot interesting to our lives and left much of lasting value to the world. How would life be without painting,music,sculptrue?Therefore ，artist is the elite of human who have the gift to discover the beauty and transmit the wisdom to the people all aroud the world.I believe ,it is artist that gives society something of lasting value.
       While we appreciate the talent and work of artist,it is unfairy that we neglect the effort of critic for that a man may born with the gift of art ,such as Mozart,but can hardly born as a artist.It is the critic’s work to find a genious man from the sea of people and give him a chance to be a famous artist,also a chance for us to admire him.Critics is important,they evaluates the works of artist and lead the right one to the place he or she should be.Like the cooking pot ,when we have the egg,we may think it delicious and even think the hen laid the egg maybe pleasuring,but hardly can we think highly of the pot ,without which is a necessary for us to enjoy our meal.It is the same reason that critics are important,without whom both the society and the gifted potential artist would suffer a great lot.
Beside exploring gifted young artist ,critic also have some other good effect on art.For instance the critism help guide the moral line of art works in case they turn into the tools of evil.Not whar is want is good ,such as drugs and art work full of violence and sex,which may have a great damage on teenager’s view of life.Nowadays ,by the vessel of internet ,many adulescent are poisoned by the blue film and other forms of unproper so-called art works.It undermines the moral of the society and the government pays a great attention to forbidding them in order to defend out moral value which help keep the balance of our country.Therefore critic can help prevent the corruption of artist and restrain the lust of people.Another good example to explain the necessary of critic is that critism help improve the art work in today’s economified art mode.It is obviously that some of the creation og art are motivated by money ,more and more film makers are no longer put the quality as the first ,but the benefit.It is right for any people to work for money to make a life,but it really a great loss of art that talent artist pour their enthusiasm in making nonsence commercial art works.The critics can help the audience deveplop a sense of high level of interesting in admiring art work that in turns would help artist improve the work.
       There is no clear lines between critics and artist that in some degree, critic is an artist.It is an art to admire and evaluate another one’s work and it is also required the quality of art make comment on other art.It is a pity that ,for me ,the Mona Lisa is no more than a photo of my aunt because I lack the ability of admiring the art .It is the critics who join the most avarage people to the greatest artist that make the art possible to transmite aroud the world.In another hand artist is aslo a critic from some points of view .It is natural for an author to give some comment on his own and other’s newly-public novel and it is easy for Da Vinci to express the affection of the painting of Mona Lisa by always carrying it with him.
       Artist is who creat the lasting value ,and critics is who make that possible and introduce the value to the world.
