2 The following appeared in a letter sent by a committee of homeowners from the Deerhaven Acres to all homeowners in Deerhaven Acres.
"Seven years ago, homeowners in nearby Brookville community adopted a set of restrictions on how the community's yards should be landscaped and what colors the exteriors of homes should be painted. Since then, average property values have tripled in Brookville. In order to raise property values in Deerhaven Acres, we should adopt our own set of restrictions on landscaping and housepainting."
3The following appeared in a newspaper article about law firms in the city of Megalopolis.

1.统一颜色和装修是否必要?可能地价的提高与此无关,是交通,商业区,社区设施都提高,物价统一上涨
2.错误类比:没有比较两地的异同(交通,功用,住户特点)
3.没有考虑住户的意见,七年会发生很大的变化

The arguer asserts that the property values in Deerhaven Acres will increase as long as carry a set of restrictions on landscaping and house-painting into execution. As it stands, the editorial suffers from several critical flaws as follows.

To begin with, the validity of analogy presentation regarding Brookville community is open to doubt. There is not plenitudinous warranty to establish relationship between restrictions on the ornament and the property values. It is questionable about the necessity of the uniform exterior colors and landscape. Maybe the elevation of the property value is not as a result of the outer color and landscape. It is entirely possible that the traffic and shopping centre and public establishment in the community would influence the Brookville community's average property values. Without make clear the inevitable relationship, it is unreasonable to educe the conclusion so assertive.

Furthermore, even if we concede that there is in fact exists some affiliation between ornament exterior color and property values, this does not means that the measure can bring it into effect in Deerhaven Acres. In fact, the arguer has ignored a lot actual ingredients. Maybe the consume conception of the two towns is so different that the uniform value is not impact the property value. Maybe the same exterior color in Brookville has special function that is not fit for Deerhaven Acres. It is also possible that the characteristics of the residents are discrepant, which could effect the property value. Without ruling out those actual reasons, it is nonsensical to predict that the policy can implement in different community.

Finally, even if we presume that the restriction could carry on Deerhaven Acres, we can not opinionated to consider that it must be accepted by the inhabitants. It can not neglect that the policy came forth seven years ago. During these years, many factors such as dwellers, price level and traffic would change a lot. We should not consider current problems with obsolete viewpoint. Consequently, the proof mentioned above can not serve as a cogent evidence for the argument.

To sum up, in order to substantiate this editorial and make it compellent, it should pay more attention to the residents' attitude and it is necessary for the arguer to present more convincing data and attestation for the conclusion.
