With the developlment of economy, an increaing number of people are beginning realize that they should give their soul a leisurely holiday. In order to meet this need of people, tourism, which can enable one completely free from daily work and has a different experience in strang places, comes in to being. Although people can now get more information about the places of interest they long to with the help of television and worldwide computer. I’m still firmly convinced that tourism will not become obsolete. On the contrary, it will become more and more popular with the propaganda of televisions or computers.
To begin with, it is entirely different between the colorful experience obtaining from your trips with only beaufiful pictures you view ahead of televisions or computers. Although we try to get more information about a certain place of interest, however, only this information can not instead of a real trip to that place. For example, an American boy, who has a dream of visiting The Great Wall of China, spends much of his spare time on browsing pictures, magazines, webpages relevant to The Great Wall—one of the eight miracal of the world. Can you imagine how happy he is, when someday his dream comes true. With sweet shining on his face, he eventually climb to the old history building. This valuable experience will encourage him to court other goals, because the dream makes believe that once he makes his determination to do something, he will successfully do it sooner or later. Moreover, after the visit of The Great Wall, he becomes familiar with the culture and custom of China, and gets along well with his new Chinese friends who help him a lot in the process of climbing. In fact, apart from making your dream come true when you have a trip to a certain place, there are a myriads of valuble thing along the way you to this place such as friends, which can not be obtained only through watching TV or operating computer.
Furthermore, tourism will become thrive with the help of TV and computer. Common sense tells us that if the local government want to develop their tourism, beside the natural or historical advantages, propaganda through TV and computer is an indispensabel way. Convinced by the importance of propaganda, modern government pay more attention in the using of this tools. And the more information people get about a place of interest, the more strong desire they will have to visit this place. In this sense, the popularity of TV and computer will stimulate the local tourism instead of reducing the interest of tourists over the world.
Finally, tourism will never be out of date as long as human beings’ curiosity and desire still exist. Human beings have the natural curiosity and desire to know the places and peoples which are different from them. And it is commonly accepted that tourism is one of the most effective ways to attain this goal. Moreover, tourism can also enhance the emotion between individuals and their families or friends. So there is an increasing trend to have a trip with ones family or friends to improve the communication between them.[ time up] For example, a father, who has not be together with his child for a long time due to his work, take his boy or girl to Diseney or other place to have a visit. This trip will make the heart of the father and his child’s stay closer and compensate the sense of guilty of the father.
Taken together, only through a real trip, one can enjoy the real interest of tourism and has a chance to get closer to the nature, and also offer a platform of communication between children and parents, or friends. The rapid development of new technology and science, like TV and computer, can not replace the importance of a real trip.
