161"In this age of intensive media coverage, it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero. The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished."

In the era when media develop marked, so many people are catapulted to celebrities, unfortunately their reputation seems just like a bubble which will break immediately. This claim contains two viewpoint, the first is that nobody can become a hero, the second is as long as subjected to media, anyone is doomed to fail to protect his or her reputation from being diminished. I agree the first viewpoint but disagree the second one.

In the first place, media makes so many people become celebrities that none of them can attract enough attention from public. As a polynary society, society involves numerous realms in all of which a lot of successful individuals emerge every day. For example, there are some individuals achieving Nobel Prize every year, some individuals achieving Oscar prize, some individuals performs wonderful in NBA. No matter how splendid they are, maybe they can attract majority of public’s attention for a short while, maybe they can attract a little part of public’s attention for a long time, however, it is almost impossible for anyone to attract majority’s attention continuously. Every day, on public turning on their television, there are so many news and so many persons attracting their eyes that they often become confused and do not know which one diverse their attention. Failing to attracting enough attention from public, it is difficlut for celebrities to grow to heroes.

In the second place, in order to pander to public's addition to public's privacy, almost all media make effort to hunt celebrities' privacy. Nowadays, it has become impossible for celebrities to protect their privacy, instead, they find paparazzi are omnipresent, who try their best to collect public figures’ privacy to maximize their media’s profit. Many celebrities’ reputation were tarnished by media because of something that does not do with public. For example a famous singer, who used to own unnumbered fans , was reported to be a gay, as a result his reputation was destroyed inevitably. Because celebrities’ privacy almost are all under public's eyes, it is almost for them to become heroes.

However, it is too absolute that the reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished. Realistically, as for many celebrities, although they have not been regarded as hero, their reputation has not been tarnished. For instance, former Board Governor for Federal Reserve System, Alan Greenspan, who used to be the cynosure, keep good reputation continuously. Similarly, Bill Gates, the richest guy who influence the world profoundly, seems without any flaw in reputation. In fact, as long as a individual restrict himself and herself strictly, it is possible to keep perfect reputation, even if he or she can not be regarded as hero.

To sum up, intense media catapults many individuals to celebrities, none of them can stay is the center of public’s attention, besides profit-oriented media addict in hunting celebrities’ privacy,  therefore if is difficult for society to regard any female or male to be heroes. However, as long as individuals restrict their action strictly, their reputation will not be tarnished.

161"In this age of intensive media coverage, it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero. The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished."

In the era when media develop marked, so many people was(were单复数) to celebrities, unfortunately their reputation looks just like a bubble which will break immediately. Maybe, they would not like to accept, but it is a fact that the development of medial gives death to herioes(heroes). In the first place, media too much people to celebrities(看不懂,似乎没动词吧) that none of them can attract enough attention from public. Every individual might become a celety(名人?celebrity?as long as he or she dodoes something unusual, no matter aan entertainment star, a sport star, a successful businessman or other people. Some so-called celeitiescelebrities even has never do something valuable but just distinguish hiself(himself) or herself with(from) others . For example, a guy who run nudely in(on) the street aimlessly might become a celebrity as long as he can bring profit to newspapers, and then maybe the people himself or herself will feel surprised. What's more, some person crime may become celebity, who was reported by kinds of media tirelessly. For example, a student who gunned down several classmates and teachers will become celebrity immediatly. Confronted so many celebrities, public trend to become fused and do not know which diverse their attention.(LZ这段写的是“名人”而非英雄,个人认为跑题了,我认为题目的意思应该是写媒体是如何破坏英雄们已经建立起来的名声的,而不需要写他们是如何变成英雄的)In the second place, in order toapnder(pander?)to public's addition to public's privacy(是不是想说 为了迎合大众的窥探欲 ), almost all media make effort to report celebrities' provacy. Nowadays, it has become impossible for celebrities to protect their provzcy, instead, they find parazzi are      .Many celebrities sffufer the disaster of discolsure of privacy, including their romance, friendship, interest, family life and so on(都会坏名声吗?比如好的家庭关系怎么会坏名声 所以个人认为应该写得更具体一些), which hurt their reputation. For a famous singer, who used to own unnumered fans , was reported as gay, as a result the girls sonsidered him as a herio gave up him. Because their privacy almost are all under public's eyes, celebrities are likely to lose their reptation.Last but not the least, profit-orented medias often mislead public with false report. Many message has no proof whatever but just romer which are overstateed infinitely. For example, a scientist may do a trivial kiscovery, but media may reported it to be a stonemark in science. Afer the bubble break, public may feel dispointed even angary. For example, a Krean scientist who claimed he has succeeded in cultivating stem cell of embryo was reported to be a  herio. However, the scientist was prosecuted to have cheated public. Because medial make public dispointed so many times, they have lose the crevidence of public, therefore, they are doomed fail to create any new celebrities. To sum up, because the celebrities so many persons to, addit to report celebrities' privacy and mislead public with false message, nowadays, it is no longer possible for a society to regard any femal or male as a hero.
