Main Idea: Although artist contribute volumous(为何word没有这个词？) value to our society, we still cannot underestimate the value of critics.
1.Admittedly, artists is the one who created art which gives our society last value. (How artists affect our society significantly)
2.However, critics, who discover the value of art, also give society lasting value.First it helps common people understand value of art. Second, it contributes to discover underlying value from massive obscure art works. Third, critics' feedback helps the artists to improve their masterpiece.
3.In Sum, Artists is the creator, we are the viewer, and critic is the one who stand between us and artists. There's no need to trivialize the significance of critics.

Who gives our society something of lasting value: artist that create art working or critic that discover them? The speaker favor the former approach, after all, artists' working changed our society significantly. However, I tend to disagree with the speaker that not only artist but also critic plays an important role in our society. We cannot underestimate the value of critics

Admittedly, artist is the one who created art which gives our society lasting value.  Consider one of the greatest artists Da Vinci and his two well-known masterpieces- Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. In the Renaissance age, they inspire the people to reflect their meaning of life, and encourage the resistance to Monarch system. Their social value does not disappear as time goes.（感觉好几处过于明显地在往Lasting Value生搬硬套，这里尤为明显，当然我的文章也是这个问题，主要是我不理解什么叫Lasting Value） Although several hundreds of years had passed away, his works are still here being viewed again and again, giving visitors great joy and content. Thus, from artist, Society gain tremendous amounts of value that last for ages.

However, critics, who discover the value of art, also gives society lasting value. To begin with, critic helps common people understand the value of true art which is almost inaccessible to them.（本句是否有语法问题？） Artists tend to ambiguous their working in order to increase the sense of mystery and uniqueness.（作为读者会在这一句提反对意见，是dilibrately ambiguous还是其他原因，需要说明） Therefore, it is common belief that arts, like Mahler's music, are quite hard to understand for ordinary people who therefore seldom touch it. To solve the problem, Critic brings this treasure of human history to common people using language they can really understand.

In addition, Critic contributes to the society by discovering the underlying value from massive obscure art works. Consider the case of Picasso. Though as one of the most famous artist in history nowadays, his painting was not recognized until his death. It is only a occasional opportunity that a critic discover the value of his working.（这个Case要换） Without critics, maybe that precious art will be descending into obscurity in the history. This example demonstrates clearly that although critic does not create the art work themselves, their discovery made our society better off.（我自己有一个疑问，经济学思维能否用到这里，比如我们自然会想Discovery有价值，但评委会怎么看呢？）

Last but not the least; critics' feedback helps the artists to improve their masterpiece. Critics, renowned for their ruthless review and ironical comments, are giving artist voluminous feedbacks from their customers-Art fans. Any weak points cited by the critic can be considered a suggestion for artist and through which artist can achieve a better achievement. Chinese Movie director Zhang Yimou once remarked, it is always critics' criticism that encourage him to do a better job in his next film. Hence, critic could be rendered as catalyze in the creation of art.（例子不太好，太生疏）

In sum, Artists is the creator of arts, we are the viewer of arts, and critic is the one who stand between us and artists. I concede that Artist affect our society considerably with their masterpieces by changing what people thinks, and what they do. Furthermore, the affection could even last for ages. Nevertheless, there’s no need to trivialize the significance of critics, for their help to common people understanding value of art; for their contributions to the discovery of underlying value from massive obscure art works; and for their feedback's help for the artists to improve their masterpiece.（结尾生硬了点，最好不要用提纲作结尾）
