Some people argue that how children are socialized could determine the future of society nowadays, whereas we do not find the efficient way to raise such children who can bring about a better society. To balance, however, children education is a so complex and vital issue that we should account a lot of aspects before making this conclusion.

To begin with, let's consider how to define 'socialize'. As far as I am concerned, though I am not the expert of social sciences and children education, this word means every member in such a society shares the same understanding of it with each other and could work, live, fit him into it. By attaining such a highly socialized society, it will be easy to organize production, distribution, consumption and exchange and keep these systems high efficiency. Thus, the society is well-ordered and advances gradually.

However, we should not ignore the contribution from those non-socialized geniuses which have been demonstrated numerous times in history. Vincent van Gogh, who is the pioneer of Expressionism, has suffered a lot of frustration and send to hospitals several times because of his mental diseases, which leads to his suicide at last. Albert Einstein, who is definitely a genius of physics and won the Nobel Prize, has a early speech difficulties, while even his teacher did not aware that he would be so famous one day. These show us two extreme cases, who either not fits to the society or performs well in the school, have significant contributions to our society. Therefore, we should take a balance view instead of simplifying the issue of socializing children.

Based on this point of view, on the one hand, the education should make sure children of the basic knowledge and moral senses. The ordinary people are the major of one society, while their education degree determines the social running directly. In short, make the main part of children be highly socialized.

On the other hand, the education should also provide a loose environment for those particular children. In another words, the socialization is not the only criterion for judging a child. Those particular but with special talents children should also be admissive and get their own positions in the society.

To sum up, considering the complex circumstances involved in the human education and social development, one can not claim that the socialized children could bring about a better society. Although the current education system might not be the best one to raise the comprehensive offspring, I believe, it is our common desire to attain an optimal education system and improve our societies.
