Does one field of study need outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to advance that field of study? The speaker's opinion is positive. In my view, I agree with the speaker's broad assertion. With outsiders, study of any field would gets few achievement. However, there are some special fields which could advance without any outsiders.

As we know, with the development of modern society, it is more and more important for scientists to research their professional projects working together with outsiders. For example, in computer science, scientists need almost several kinds of knowledge such as physics, maths and chemistry. In solving some software problems, scientist must invite outsiders who are professional in maths and physics to participate in researching. Without outsiders, computer science would not develop so fast now. For another instance, in biochemistry study scientists need to research on advanced projects such as clone project. When scientists solve problems about clone projects, except biochemistrical experts, some professional researchers of biogrophy and chemisty should also be taken part in. With the endeavors of all these scientists, clone project could advance fast and smoothly.

Besides scientific field of study, some social field of study also need outsiders to take part in. Historical research is another perfect example. When historians continue their study, they would find it hard to answer every questions by using history knowledges. We all have seen historians' research on ancient tombs. I will take it as examples. Using historical knowledges, historians could judge on eras of tombs by clear signs such as words or pictures. However, in some special tombs, historians could find anything useful to judge the epoch of the tombs. Hence, historians need to invite some outsiders such as chemists to help them. Chemists could induce out the age of tombs by analyzing the existing years of materials, such as carbon or oxygen.  This is only a little problem during researching on ancient tombs.Without outsiders, historians will take longer time to find truth of history.

However, some special fields do not need outsiders during their developments, even if outsiders could take an important role in most professions. For instance, when we focus on field of accounting, we will find it is too independent to need few knowledge from other fields. Accounting is a scientific system including a lot of disiplines and laws. People could study on it only using knowledge of accounting. When scientists research on accounting, what they should do is to make accounting more suitable for request of modern society and correct disadvantage of current disiplines and laws. Outsiders will find it hard to take part in study of accounting. Without outsiders, accounting could advance further only by endeavor of its own experts.

In conclusion, the speaker's opinion is correct which could fit for studys of most fields. However, in some special fields as accounting, outsiders are not necessary as the speaker claims.
