想问下Supporting documents里面的NRIC/Passport or Citizenship Certificate指什么?
还有下面这一句是什么意思啊？
The original degree certificate and academic transcripts / complete yearly results must be provided for verification at the point of matriculation.

今天NTU的导师催我申请的事情，然后我问了他整个录取过程。他这么说：
  In NTU, the application will first pass through the faculty, once
  we have recommend you for PhD to the University, the next step in your case
  as you do not have GRE or Toefl would be to have  a technical test and interview around Feb/Mar.
  Our staff will travel to China for this purpose, we will update you when is the test.
  
  As Dr ** has highly recommended you, we think that you will stand a great chance to come to NTU,
  You must still do well for the interview and technical test.
  As for the technical test, we will set questions in Maths and DSP. Do you have any problem in these.
  For Maths, hows your probability and statistics.
Dr **是我未来的co-supervisor，在开会的时候见过他，而且有个比他资历老的人向他推荐过我（开会时），跟我联系的这个来负责我具体的申请和在学校的事情。
然后我回复说Maths没问题，但是DSP不熟悉，并且询问一下论坛常说的NTU的替代性考试EPT和TPT，他又回我说：
If you are familiar with Maths, that’s ok as well, we will then set questions, we would also ask you to send us samples of your exam to understand your background and standard.
As for EPT and TPT, I guess you can send them, they may consider them.
这里有点不明白，we would also ask you to send us samples of your exam to understand your background and standard 指的是成绩单吗？ 还是面试的时候笔试情况？
他好像不知道EPT 和TPT。是不是这两个不用考？
PS: 我成绩单上很多主要课程分数都不高，更郁闷的是还有两门60多分的。会不会影响申请？很担心这个。

lz，今天早晨收到NUS小米的邮件：there is no waiver for TOEFL and GRE for your case. 然后我就发邮件通知我套的教授，他的回复如下：“ the Department and the Committee will be looking into your case again, probably this week or early next week. In the worst case, I will have a new research grant in July/August. You can join as a research assistant and take up a part-time PhD program."
不知道像我这种情况下被graduate committee重新审查通过的几率有多大？还有这种 part-time PHD 和 full-time PHD 区别在哪？

1。 复印一下身份证和护照。没办护照就只复印身份证。不用公证。

2。原版的毕业证和成绩单，如果有offer，入学时要再核实。

那个所谓的technical test应该就是TPT。我觉得是不是这个老师不太懂没有托福GRE的申请流程？

你应该再问问Dr **，确定一下。

成绩肯定是越好越好。但是毕竟已经定了，所以多担忧也无益。好好准备接下来的考试和面试吧！

几率不会很大。但是你老板愿意用自己的研究经费供你念，那就肯定没有问题。

part-time PhD，可以申请PR（如果你的薪水高于2500，一般都会高于〕，算国大员工，算工作经验。但是一般会毕业晚一点。总体来说，我觉得挺好，只要你老板一直有钱能供你念完。

斑竹大人，我今天给我陶瓷的那个老师说了一个idea，他这么回的：
Your suggestion is tempting and we can discuss it when you are in NUS. By the way, I will visit PKU and do you want have a short meeting with me?
斑竹大人前半句似乎是我已经能进NUS了，可后半句怎么那么像面试呢？感觉是不是能不能进还要看那天面试的performance，如果令老师不满意，也告吹呢？？？急急急咯，多谢斑竹大人的分析。

顺便附上之前的回信：
之前我陶瓷的那个老师给我回信说:
I talked to our committee chair, who told me we're gonna offer you ad to MS program(by research)
然后我回信说看来我要参加面试了，他给我回信说：
I don't know whether or how a telephone interview would be held. But I expect admission will soon be sent to you.
