WASHINGTON — Two University of Virginia engineering students were arraigned Monday (Nov. 26) in connection with the alleged abduction of another Chinese national.
' b1 \$ b0 w# j4 E5 \# w) EAccording to a report in Tuesday's edition of the Washington Post, Fairfax County, Va., police have charged Guanyu Lu and Baichuan Shu, both 19, of abducting a 20-year-old Chinese national living in McLean, Va. Lu and Shu are both second-year engineering students at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

According to the report, the students abducted the man in the Tysons Corner area of northern Virginia, tied him up at a motel in nearby Falls Church and allegedly demanded a $500,000 ransom.

Fairfax County police and the FBI reportedly spotted the men entering and leaving the motel room and discovered the victim bound and gagged, the Post reported, citing a search warrant affidavit.

The students were charged with abduction with intent to extort money. A Fairfax County District Court judge ordered the pair to be held without bond.

看到过的.而且据说那两个绑架者家里很有钱,平常对同学也很好,周围人对他们评价都蛮高,不知怎么搞的居然去绑架敲诈......ORZ......不知道会不会影响大陆学生在米国的待遇和录取.........SIGH...这年头,心理BT的人还真不少......

说得好，不好意思~
我是觉得，那样是不是心理有问题？这是犯罪啊，我是觉得不值得同情，一念之差的话，也不会做出这种事吧。这两年UVA发AD那么多阿，词用错了。。。我们学校发得也多，“乱”，恩。
