TOPIC: ISSUE17 - "There are two types of laws: just and unjust. Every individual in a society has a responsibility to obey just laws and, even more importantly, to disobey and resist unjust laws."

什么是公平的法律,每个人都有不同的判断标准.如果每个人都按照自己的标准遵守公平的法律不遵守不公平的法律,社会将会乱成一团.
1 公平性取决于个人价值体系.
2 法律的公平还取决于个人利益与长远社会利益的平衡.
3 反对不公平会法律导致社会不稳定

Which laws are just and which are unjust, I think every individual in the society has different answers. Due to that individuals' criterions of whether the laws are just are not alike, if every individual in the society obeys just laws and disobey unjust laws according to their own judgments, the society will be in mess.

Of course, laws want to keep every individual in the society feel justice. However, due to different backgrounds and experiences, every individual in the society can hardly to make completely consensus about the justice of laws. Take an issue about keeping pets in public places as an example. Animal lovers think that it is just to keep pets in public places, such as communities, for that pets have the freedom to enjoy themselves everywhere, yet others may consider it is unjust to let pets in public places. They think pets will bring some awful epidemic disease. In this case, everyone judges the law according to their own values and simply divides laws into just and unjust.

Additionally, we can conclude from another angel that laws cannot be understood as just laws and unjust laws. One purpose of the law is to make sure the society has a continuous development. Perhaps, for the persist advancement of the society, the generation nowadays had to sacrifice their own profits. For example, because Chinese population is expanded so far that the natural resource is limited for later generations, the law had to restrict the birthrate. It seems unjust to them, but it will benefit their later periods. In some cases, for protect most peoples' interests, minority peoples' benefit had to be sacrificed. To minority people, the law is unjust. However, although some laws seem unjust for minority people or a generation, we still acclaim these laws for long-term interests of the community. From this angel, it is too hasty to conclude there are two types of laws: just and unjust.

Last but not least, if every individual in a society obey just laws and disobey unjust laws as their judgments, the whole society will develop in a disorder and unstable situation. It is not too difficult to think without a uniform standard, how mess a society will be. And the mess will arouse more social problems, sometimes even evoke rebellion. Only the citizens living in a relatively order, stable and peaceful environment, the citizens can make use of their intelligence to create a more beautiful society. Thus, obey just laws and disobey unjust laws according to individuals' standard, which is harmful to the whole society's advancement.

In whole, laws cannot simply be divided into just laws and unjust laws. Moreover, individuals cannot obey just law and disobey unjust laws. It is better to support laws which can maintain the whole society develops in a relatively order, stable and peaceful atmosphere.

Last but not least, if every individual in a society obey just laws and disobey unjust laws as their judgments, the whole society will develop in a disorder and unstable situation. It is not too difficult to think without a uniform standard, how mess a society will be.（这句话有点空，最好是某个例子里的情况） And the mess will arouse more social problems, sometimes even evoke rebellion. 整篇文章来看，问题在于你把重点过多地放在了公平性的问题上，而忽略了原题感觉更为重要，至少也是一样重要的遵守与不遵守问题，具体来说就是第二段论证“法律的公平还取决于个人利益与长远社会利益的平衡.”显得有点多余，大可以充实到第一断论述里面去，而增加点篇幅在遵守不遵守的问题上，或者跟我那样形成个平衡观点

都是个人意见哈，仅供参考
