这篇文章好像有话说，可是还是没说出多少话出来，而且感觉也比较乱。

Is it true that one should be only realistic rather than idealistic in the life? The speaker claims so but I tend to partly agree. Indeed, practicism is very important; however we should not ignore the function of the idealistic views. We should combine and make a great use of them both in our daily lives.

To begin with, practical views are very effective in solving issues in real life. In our business, benefit is the most important part. There is a story: one friend of mine met a technical issue in his product development work in the company, he spent a lot of time to find many technical solutions to this issue, more time is required, of course, to verify these solutions. Last, the technical officer of the company gave him a suggestion, which can solve the issue without too many complex actions and too much time. He said and I paraphrased here" What we should do is to create the most benefits with lowest cost, including time cost ". From this example, we can recognize the importance of realism.

After all, all our efforts are to make the society operate and develop effectively. In political field, politicians should pay more attention to pragmatic views. When election campaign start, politicians have to call on electorate to support them, what standard do the electorate refer to when they give out their vote? It is the achievement of the leader. In the field science, subjects we research should have the realistic values, or it will hard to survive a long time as the speaker said because it can not attract enough sources, including economic and motivation of researchers, to resume it.

Whereas, idealism is the basic way to start to deal affects of the life. When we started to learn or research, the knowledge we learned is idealized, without the idealism and simplification, we can not learned the difficult knowledge. With the learning of the idealized knowledge, we can recognize the basic structure and principle of the subject and then we ourselves can analyze the complicated cases of the subject.

Over-realistic will also harm our real life. It is known that all affects in our life is not ideal. Like a project, in despite that you are very familiar the project, some unexpected issues may occurs, so when one design the project plan, he should not over-realized the project and leave enough time for all kinds of unwanted emergency.

To sum up, through the discussion above, we can have a clear comparison of realism and idealism. It is expected that in the real life we can find a balance between them and make use of them in the most effective way.
