The statement demonstrates that in today's increasingly work-oriented society, students should only be taught those courses that will help them attain jobs. I am afraid I could not agree with the author's. What our society will be like if children only learn relevant major knowledge? It is very possible that our civilization of society would develop without balance on technology or art and so on.

First of all, the goal of education is to cultivate overall developed students who will become builders of world in future. When one student just enrolls a university or college, he or she could not know clearly that what major or field is interesting for him or her. In light of this statement, it is very necessary for educators to design variety of disciplines exploring student's potential and motivate student's inspiration to chase their interesting disciplines, even making the field as their major after graduation.(阐述所带来的后果,对学生自身和对学校,社会三个层面)

What is more, different knowledge from various disciplines will inspire students' ideas, accelerate knowledge assimilation and understand for students while advancing their insights. Even after their graduation, the outer-field information or opinions will bring them new thought and inventions to their own majors or jobs so that improving their professional level. Furthermore, for example, thought a certain student would be an artistic someday, if he only commands relate skills about painting without geometrical knowledge, it will be hard for him to come his ambitious out. Thus, it is not wise for students only learning those courses which will help them to adapt a certain job.(John Nash的博弈

Moreover, take it into whole society, it is well known that more and more inter-connection majors are appearing. And they are becoming important constituted parts of the civilization of our society and adding colorful to our developing technological and artistic creations. If students pay their all attention on their jobs disciplines, it is very possible that they will not adapt those jobs which are determined by several disciplines knowledge  if students are cultivated as work-machines other than creativity and sensitive persons for they could not realize real wonderful and colorful world. If like that, to some extent, it is a disaster for humanity and civilization of overall society.
Above all, it is not only for students who will benefit from a variety of disciplines which universities or colleges require them to take, but also overall humanity's civilization will attain achievements from those disciplines.

思想很好,而且写作的基础也好,一看就是练过一些的.看完后我有两点感觉.第一,我觉得第一个和第二个观点的层次分的不是很开,具体都是再说学生需要多种教育,虽然原因不同.这样的话,连成一段比较好,具体论证比较有力.而且显得有着重点.第二,就是我觉得应该写一些事例,这是我个人的偏好.使文章更生动的话,可能会比较有利一点,因为老美一天要看好些文章.
总之写的很不错啦,继续加油啊.
