"So much is new and complex today that looking back for an understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present."

It is well known that the history of human beings is like a abundant and precious mine including various achievements which our ancestors have attained and all kinds of lesson ranging from policies to art which are waiting later generations to search and research carefully. The vital role of studying history is unimpaired even though more and more new and complex are appearing in our time.
First of all, the development of human beings history is like a map to tell and instruct us how to walk and what should to do. We would acquire the direction of our time by researching the foot prints of our ancestor for we have inherited their many characteristics and nature, such as in business field, we desire that we would be more strengthen by overcoming our opponents which is our nature! What is more, every one of us, as a part of human beings, need to get together with others, that is to say, we hope to involve with a certain group. And we could recognize and understand ourselves during we are merging into the group which we are living in. The concept of group for us may be is family, race or nation. However, only by studying the history of family, race or nation, we get the recognized of ourselves and realize where I belong to. From this point, we are further acquainted ourselves by learning the history of ourselves.

Moreover, every one of us, especially the children, would be proud when are cultivated and taught that he or she is offspring of a great race or nation which attain marvelous accomplishments in history. In the light of this point, the proudness of populace are motivated so that they would like to attribute their wisdom even lives to improve welfare of society and create more brilliant civilization for our times. For that matter, it is no doubt that the civilization of all human beings will be prompted largely and the society even world would be more comfort to live.

And the most crucial role of history taking at present is that we could absorb a great number lessons and information to instruct our life now. For example, a militarist would gather relate lessons when he is dealing with how to get supply for soldiers when opponents exert ways to prevent at battlefield from former conductors who had met similar problems. And those politicians could organize relative rules or adapt similar tactics, just like his former or other leader in history having used, to command the statement which he is facing to. An obviously characteristic of history is continuous so that we always could discover the treasure which we cherished to benefit ourselves from learning  history no matter there are various new elements or trends are surging superficially in our time.

In sum, the studying and researching of history of human beings will produce surprised help and motivation to our present life, whatever daily life or development of a nation. Just you know, history of ourselves just likes a great treasure which are waiting us to explore.
