急问：护照有效期只有两年零一个月怎么办？

大家好，
我正在准备办理澳洲移民，刚准备好技术评估的材料准备寄出，发现官方网站上说申请移民的时候护照需要两年有效。而我拿到评估结果的时候很有可能护照有效期不到两年了。这样的话是否需要换护照，可是似乎护照有效期只剩6个月才能换护照。怎么办？另外，我的护照上有美国的B1签证，还没到期，换了护照以后这个签证是否还是可以用？
我应该怎么办呢？

没听说过需要有2年有效护照的要求。只知道如果申请期间护照过期，办新护照，然后通知移民局即可。

上面说：
Passport detailsThe passport you use should be the one you intend to use to travel to Australia if a visa is granted. This passport should be valid for at least two years.
This passport must be used to provide evidence of your identity when required as part of your application process. You and any accompanying family members on your passport will need to present this passport to the doctor when undertaking health examinations. Accompanying family members who are not on your passport will also need to provide their own passport.
You must provide certified copies, and translations where necessary, of the 'Personal Particulars' page of all your passport/s, and those of any accompanying family members. You should also include any stamps or authorisations amending passport details, such as passport validity extensions.
If you, or any family member, do not currently hold a passport, or need to renew a passport, please do so before lodging your application so the certified copies of the relevant pages can be included in your application.

很多人在申请移民期间护照过期，很多人都是换了新护照再把新护照号通知移民局。我想这个不是什么问题，你可以跟跟移民局联系。
