在作业布置前一天我自己写了这一篇,但还是又写了一遍,主旨没变,但感觉还是不舒服
Issue51
Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.
How can we value education is effective or not, from the direction of whether meets the individual needs and interests of each student or others aspects. In a society where the rights of human being are considered to be inviolable and sacred, we decide the property of a thing based on the behalves of the individual. As a result, the individual needs and interests of each student should be placed in the first position when we design an effective education. However, education must be also designed on consideration of other social aspects except for the behalves of the individual.
For the mainstream of education is people and the aim of it is to improve the surviving environment of the human being, the education should be designed to teach the student how to acquire skilled technology to survive and how to utilize and appreciate the elite which was left by our ancestor in the activity of propelling the society forward to prosperity. With the development of technology and the man’s thought, the society has been driven into a high-speed road that anyone without knowledge would be filtered into the pit of history. When a man who has not received education could not acquire information quickly and effectively by computer, he would not find a satisfied job with a high salary which enables him to buy the needed accommodation and other psychic enjoyment. Education has the obligation to teach every member of the society to acquire the must skill in order to keep the society developing stable and healthily since the equivalent of education is a symbol of civilization of a society.
Nevertheless, the final target of education is to propel the society forward while we educate every person to acquire the survival skills, and as a result, we should include other social factors when designing the process of education. Although the developing speed of technology is great and unimaginable, there is also difference between good jobs and not ideal work. Anyone who is intelligent and smart enough would be like to choose the former rather than the latter, and only when the needs of both reach a balance could the society keep prosperity. When designing the scheme of education, we should set the major and its scale by the requirement of society. For example, when the students whose major is computer could find an ideal job and acquire a high salary after graduation, can we grant the entitlement to all the students who want to study computer? The answer is obviously not, for we can not provide enough opportunities for all of them.
However, when we consider the requirements of the society and the needs of individual, we should place both on a flexural condition, that is, analyze on every special circumstance. For instance, when the society demands quantitative of architecture technocrats, the man who has an inherited disease of height frightened should not be compelled to study architecture. In the mean time, we should satisfy the requirement of a person whose has a talent and interest on the language of Arab although the demand of this field is little and there are adequate specialists on this. On balance, our aim is to make every person lead a happy life while the final aim of education is to achieve the prosperity and harmony of the society.
To conclude, when designing education we not only consider the individual needs and interests of every student but also notice the integral requirements of the society. The latter is like an operating machine while the former is like the component of it, and only when harmonizing the relations of two could the machine operate normally. (610字)
