TOPIC: ISSUE83 - "Government should preserve publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state, even though these areas are often extremely remote and thus accessible to only a few people."

Following the rapid improvement of science and technology, human beings have becoming very strength and have capacity to do whatever they would like to even changing the formation of a certain species, such as transformation genes. However, the balance of nature is in danger. In order to maintain normal development, it is very important to preserve the environment of world and government should protect publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state.

It is well known that more and more species, such as different kinds of plants or animals, are disappearing from earth step by step, and a great number of species are in danger. The one reason of their distinction is due to their home where they have lived for several generations are destroyed by human beings. In order to achieve interested and beneficial goals, the land is explored to get the mine, the river is polluted to make natural trash area and the plants or animals are cut or skilled for meet populace's need. However, during this crazy exploring process, the balance of nature is disturbed. The higher temperature of whole world is powerful evidence. And the effect resulting from the increased temperature is well known. From this point, to preserve publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state is not only giving sufficient region to survive for wild animals and plants, but also maintain proper balance between nature and people's behavior. If the balance disappearing, it is afraid that the survival of people would be in danger, in other words, it is possible that human beings are doomed to disappear from world.

Fortunately, many scientists and relative researchers have begun taking action to protect wilderness areas. And they are appealing society to pay more attention on preserving wilderness by explaining the relationship of nature and human beings to make people realize how crucial to maintain wilderness areas in their natural state. For example, many dwellers in my homeland which is a remote town on mountain have known the important of to maintain the wilderness areas and the exploration have stopped. However, the influence and fruits which have attained would disappear in a short time if without compelling regulation operated by government. The relative laws and rules need government to enforce and maintaining wilderness areas require society to focus on.

On the other hand, it is useful to attain relative material or knowledge from researching the plants and animals who are living in wilderness areas which maintain intact situation. Form this point, to protect wilderness would help us to realize unknown species and rare demonstration. For example, in Yellow Stone, the faults have provide first hand material for scientists to acquire the action of earth’s crust; and the wild null is a precious species with huge body to study the revolution of species. By these resources, relative referenced advices would be provided to officials when they are designing certain regulations or plans, such as a tall and large building whether could be build on the land with a special fault, which are similar with the one that have been careful study in a wilderness areas.
In sum, to preserve publicly owned wilderness areas in their natural state is crucial and necessary responsibility for a government. It relates the living of various species, including human beings. Moreover, the intact wilderness areas are precious researching materials to the development of science and a good balance between nature and humanity would make the world more comfortable for living.
