Scandals, which are conceded one by one when a problem should be brought into focus, can truly serve to call our attention on predicament, the resource of it, sometimes, as the author mentioned in the passage. While, changing the environments is, nothing would be effective forever, so are the scandals. As a result, scandals sometimes, to contrast, would distract us from more pressing communication or problems superior to solve.

In some areas, it is common that people would be spoken more than others just by his scandal, taking the area of amusement as an example. Holding the imagine that famous actors or actress, who earn much times of salary than people live in normal lives, a different life with the most of audiences’, they would be interested in other’s personal lives, habits, or even usual mistakes just from the inherent curiosity of human being; and share with others, who have the same interesting and would be eager to know. The more be talked among the audiences, the more chance to know one’s real character and act capability, by which, if his personality and method of action have been accepted by most, the actor are walking towards success. From this point of view, being part of chatting of others is an effective way, and the scandals would take a more effective result than a long-time speech on the squares.

However, on the other hand, some more critical tribulations, which need a solution immediately, sometimes would be neglected since people pay most of their attention on the inessential sandals, whether in politics, academia, amusement, or society. For an illustration, improving work condition is one of the duty of labor union, and if the chairman of a famous union have some affaire, like romantic affaire or bribe, the work condition improving would be taken place by them. Same as the opinion discussed above, these focused attention on scandals are just because the natural inbeing, but to the contrast to the well-worked out, this time the real trouble would be suspense in the air, no matter whether the chairman becomes well-known or not. Could that be told useful? With the true function being forgotten and with much time and energy wasted during the valueless interviews and reports. One anthropology professor of my university once said in a lecture, and I quote here, “We should trade the problem itself as the key point instead of some scandals from them, when the limited time and energy have been taken into consideration.”

Simply put, it is true that scandals could focus more attention and make one be nearer to his aim, which means they are useful. But as the two sides of one coin, from another sight, at the same time, something must be neglected from people’s view, if that just is the essential part of the whole story, we could conclude that the scandals are useless. Thus, no one thing could be concluded absolutely helpful or hopeless, we could make the result dissimilar by using one method in a different way.
