The assertion shows a quite radical viewpoint of education and I regard it as an idealistic and extreme one while I do agree with it that education will be effective in that way. In fact, there is an inner contradiction in the assertion itself that, as we all know, the needs and interests of individuals can hardly be satisfied at the same time and so does education. To take my personal experiences as an example, I started to learn painting with passion when I am a little girl and once decided to take it as my life-time career. My wish was to live on art but the reality told me the result would mostly be to die for art if I keep away from other fields of knowledge. I learned a class from my personal experiences that one cannot only learn that he or she interested inwhat he or she interested in, instead, one should always concern what they need to learn. Otherwise, what if the needs are exactly the subjects or fields that the student hates or dislikes? Then it makes the 'education' be in a dilemma.  To take a second thought, if we assume that the individual needs and interests were fortunately the same or at least they have no contradictions with each other, in this situation, the individualized education is no doubt a good one. Confucius presented a principle of education and I paraphrased, educating different people in different ways. Furthermore, Plato told us in 'The Republic' that Socrates leveled people into gold, silver, copper etc. concerning their talents. And he thought different education should be provided to them in the Republic. These two saints from east and west lived in the same era and presented a similar theory of what good education is. However, we should notice that this kind of 'good education' only exists in the Republic, according to Socrates, and that is one of the reason I call the 'good education' a (an) idealistic one. Moreover, this kind of 'good education' is sort of effective but far from efficient. In the modern society we live now, every thing should be measured for the proceeds-to-cost ratio. Take China as an example, thanks to the large number of population, in generally speaking, one teacher teaches at least two classes with about 40 students or more each. In these cases, it decides the 'good education' is no more than a dream to us. Furthermore, the situation is different in other countries, but it still(动词??) the same hard for them to realize the 'good education' dream. Also, itthere is no need to do so in my point of view since education can be divided to basic and further one. The former is closely related to common sense, general education that we have now is effective and efficient enough in this case. And speaking to the latter one, individualized education should be promoted in a more efficiency-concerned way according to the conditions of different countries. In sum, the further education will be truly effective only when it is designed for individuals while the basic one will not. Hence, the problem for us is how to make the 'good education' come true.
