The issue above reveals the never-ceased controversy on whether student-centered education or teacher-centered education is better. There are different answers according to different time, place, or the person who answers. However, I would recommend student-centered education, specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, is more effective nowadays.

Before the discussion, we need to clarify the notion of education. The common idea about education is on common sense, morality development and special skills. Nevertheless, it is to cultivate one's own personality and individuality that is the further object of education.

Only by meeting the individual needs and interests of each student can we fully inspire one's potential on a specific field, thus he can delve deeper into it and gain more breakthrough, along with self-satisfaction. As we know, interest can be a powerful motivation to push one overcome obstacle, rather than just give up because it seems impossible. The greatest scientist, Albert Einstein can exemplify this. By interest, he carried through his research, the theory of relativity, alone. At early time, despite other one's contempt, he is devoted to it just because he loved it. Finally, his theory was accepted by other scientists and he won the respect of the society. It is regrettable that maybe there are many people who showed their brilliance also but did not achieve great accomplishment just because their interests and needs were not met. So, if one's interest and need are met, such as financial support or permit to some lab, we can expect more specialists, scientists and etc. Thus we can say this is really effective.

Student-centered education also does help in cultivating one's individuality and personality.  Relying on the teacher's plan, one may form inertia to depend on other ones, not on himself(herself). When one's need is fully met, he can freely form the sketchy of his life, and chase his ambition on his own. Though the process he does cultivate his independence and his personality by himself. The difference between the American education and the Asian education, the prior one accentuating more on student's need, can well illustrate it -- generally , the American students are more independent.

However, someone may counter my view, citing the fact that today's education is more teacher-centered and there is no possibility to meet everyone's needs and interests. Reasonable as it sounds, this opposition is too narrow-foci. Today’s education, which, I concede, is more teacher-centered, is mostly determined by the physical limitation that existed before: Not enough teachers, no method for distance communication, no other direct means to get knowledge resources. But today this limitation has been no more a real one. The rapid development of Network and computer has changed it, making teacher-student communicating convenient, affording a Sargasso Sea of relevant resources. What is more important is that the relationship between teacher and student has also changed from distilling and receiving knowledge to resolving and raising questions, imposing not too much pressure on teachers as someone may imagine.

Although student-centered education is effective, a too self-restricted education is not recommended. Firstly, there is something common in everyone's education, indispensable and very useful, such as common sense study, morality education, or basic skills, for example, math and computer, as a preparation for one's future. Personal interest and needs can determine nothing in these educational aspects. Secondly, if one’s interests and needs are met without restriction, one may become selfish or arrogant.

To sum up, with the technology's development, it is urgent for education for education to be specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student to fully develop everyone.  But we need to consider the physical condition of the particular location, and give some restriction to students. Only in this way can education be really effective.

当初写第一篇issue时，本准备写基本反对作者观点的，最后想练一下思维强度，写成赞同了。
赞同的难点在于说明only这一点，不可否认无论从阅读和argument角度，'only' can only be wrong.
实际是可以些赞成的，写成教育需要因材施教是比较好的。
only 太难写了。
