　　阅读理解部分包括4篇文章，其中每篇文章大约为400-600个单词，有6-8个问题，4篇文章共有28个问题。从试题类型上来看，一般来讲，阅读理解问题的类型有以下几种： 　　 　　1.有关中心思想的问题。这类问题主要涉及贯穿全文的主旨。通常采取以下方式提问 　　the　main　idea　of　the　passage　is... 　　the　author's　primary　purpose　in　this　passage　is　to... 　　which　of　the　following　is　the　main　point　of　the　passage? 　　the　author　is　primarily　concerned　with... 　　 　　2.有关作者态度的问题。这类问题主要涉及作者在文中的态度。通常采用下列方式提问： 　　the　tong　of　the　passage　can　best　be　describe　das... 　　the　author　views　his　subject　with... 　　which　of　the　following　best　describes　the　author‘attitude　toward... 　　 　　3.有关推论型的问题。这类问题主要涉及从文章中提供的实施的出相应的结论。通常采用下列方式提问： 　　the　passage　implies　that... 　　the　author　uses　the　phrase　to　mean... 　　the　passage　suggests　that... 　　which　of　the　following　can　be　inferred　from　the　passage? 　　 　　4.有关逻辑结构的问题。这类问题主要涉及整个文章的组织结构。通常采取下列方式提问 　　the　author　develops　his　argument　in　which　of　the　following　ways? 　　the　author　proceeds　primarily　by... 　 　　5.有关文章中某一具体实施的问题。这类问题主要涉及文章中已经明确提出的有关事实。 　　the　author　mentions　which　of　the　following? 　　according　to　the　author 　　 　　6.有关使用新的情况的问题 　　with　which　of　the　following　statements　would　the　author　most　likely　agree? 　　the　author　would　probably　consider　which　of　the　following　a　good　example　of　her　theory 　　解题策略 　　 　　考试开始后，先用1-2分钟的时间阅读每篇文章的第一句话，根据其难易进行排列。 　 　　（1）内容比较熟悉的文章先做。 　　（2）语言抽象晦涩或者专业性强的后做。 　　（3）如果看不懂文章的前几句话，先放弃这篇文章。 　　（4）问题多的文章可以先做。 　　（5）文章长短并不表明其难易 　　（6）每篇文章有5-6个段落，每一个段落有一个中心思想，一般是第一句或最后一句 　　（7）一般来讲，有maybe,could　possibly,might等的答案可能是正确的。带有never,always,must,exactly,impossible的答案是错误的-----仅供参考

LSAT阅读方法的评价与选择


在做LSAT阅读部分时，有不少不同的阅读方法，粗粗概括起来，坊间流传的大概主要有五种： 1。方法一：象平时读普通文章一样，一口气通读到头。 2。方法二：先看考题问题题干，再读全文。 3。方法三：一段一段地读。读一段后停下，看问题中有无相关问题，再回文中。 4。方法四：问题带着阅读走。先基本不看文章，先看问题题干，再去文中快速找答案；只看部分文章，不看全文。 5。方法五：基本与方法一同，细读全文的1/3，其余部分读各段落的第一句和最后一句。?The Princeton Review的《 Cracking the LSAT》在向它的读者推荐阅读方法时至少经历了两次截然不同的反复：起初它主张方法一，竭力鼓吹在阅读时先获文章big picture的重要性，并极力嘲讽方法二。但是令人嘲讽的是在1999年的版本里，该书作者来了个180(吉利数字，LSAT的满分。呵呵。)度的大转弯，他全力推荐了方法二，即他以前大加鞭挞的方法。为什么有这么大的转变？原因不详。作者在书中也未提及。大名鼎鼎的Kaplan 在它的《LSAT》(1999-2000版)中则极力推荐方法五，即先仔仔细细阅读全文的1/3。它的理由是：几乎所有的文章(passage)在其前1/3部分均会引入文章的Topic，Scope; 作者的Main Idea/Primary Purpose,Tone; 以及有关后文中的文章结构的许多暗示。所以仔仔细细地读文章的前1/3部分非常重要。 在LSAT的复习和考试中，哪种方法更好呢？对这一问题的回答也许不得不套用“众说纷纭”这一老词了。下面还是让我们来看看美国鬼子的看法吧，正因为是他们厚颜无耻地发明了LSAT这一鬼东西，才让我们多少人为之喜怒失常，呕心沥血!律师，大学和法学院指导Mark Alan Stewart (UCLA J.D.)是这样评价这四种阅读方法的(他把方法五与方法一合为一类)。根据他老人家的看法，方法一和五是一种被动的阅读方法，主动性最差，读了前面忘了后面，不可取。方法二(Preview),较适用于时间不足时。方法三(Interactive)，他认为用此可改善你做题时的Concentration和答题的Accuracy(试试看！)。方法四的主动性最高，较适合LSAT考试之用；但是不是绝对地不看全文只看部分，需要在答题前看全文的最前几句和最后几句，以求得全文的big picture. (哇塞！光读读文章就搞这么多名堂，还不要了本菜侠的小命了！) 这里需要提一句的是，这五种办法均不排斥你的做记号，加注等办法。 到底选用什么方法好？说实在的，已复习两个月了，可到现在我脑子里也还是一笔糊涂帐。也许从来就没有什么最好的方法。如果看官您是位大侠，“牛人”(非遗传学用语)，特别是已考过LSAT，并得了165，170，175分以上的牛前辈(前人好象不好听吧？)，在看到本文嗤笑之余，请您千万别忘了点拨一下我这个“贾170”啊!先谢了!非大侠，牛人同样欢迎。 如果你非要我五者之中选其一，相比之下，我较喜欢用方法一或五(菜侠么！)。我觉得方法一即先通读并不是被动的，你可以一边读一边主动地去找每段的中心，全文的中心，划出重要的句子，找出全文的结构，把握每段各层意思，等等，等等。也可以读得很快或很慢。你看可以多主动啊！简直可象在街上追没老妈保驾的漂亮小妞那么主动！(Warning：Kids, dont try this!) (再注：本菜侠守身如玉，从未做过此等事情。在梅国就更不敢了。最多回头“目送”一下，有那贼心没那贼胆。) 回正文，我觉得LSAT的阅读不仅要考你的阅读速度，更要考你的细心程度和理解能力，这样光有big picture是不够的。用方法二和四，解一般问题(main idead,topic 等)还可以，解细节题就不够了，解推论和“imply”这种题就更不够用了。而用方法一或五，即仔仔细细地读一遍，同时又划又记，既能把握中心，结构，又能把握细节。速度的问题只有靠多练习来解决。不过如果时间不多了，我也许会用方法四。如果时间再不够了呢？嘿嘿，你比我更知道该怎么做。
