应该是够了.因为我看过学校给Intl Stud的financial support表格上估计的是四万多刀，给我的Funding比学校估计还要多出来一些。

这个跟各个学校的学费所在地区的生活费什么的都有很大关系，不过PhD一般如果是全奖给的钱应该都是够生活的。

The Department of Economics is pleased to offer you admission to the University of Colorado Ph.D. program in Economics.  This offer comes with the following financial support:



·         A teaching assistantship (TA) for the 2008-09 academic year, with an estimated stipend of $14,446.10 (based on this year’s stipend amount)

·         70% of your total premium for our student health insurance “Gold Comprehensive Plan”  Based on this year’s numbers, the estimated cost for this plan for AY 2008-09 would be $790 per semester, CU would pay $553 and your cost would be $237 per semester

·         9-18 hours of free tuition for each semester of the 2008-09 academic year, which is sufficient to cover tuition costs for your full course load

·         A fellowship for the 2008-09 academic year in the amount of $2,000



Your TA appointment will be a one-half time position working with a professor in a large section of Principles of Economics (or a similar course). Duties include conducting recitation sections, consulting with students, and assisting with preparation and grading of examinations. Continued support in the second semester of your first year depends upon your satisfactory performance in the first semester. Satisfactory performance includes completion of at least 9 credit hours (three courses) of graduate course work with a grade of B or better as well as successful execution of your T.A. responsibilities. The three required courses for the Fall 2008 semester are Microeconomic Theory I (Econ 7010), Macroeconomic Theory I (Econ 7020) and Mathematical Statistics for Economists (Econ 7818). The three required courses for the Spring 2009 semester are continuations of the Fall courses: Microeconomic Theory II, Macroeconomic Theory II, and Econometrics.



You will also be expected to participate in a T.A. training offered through the Graduate Teacher Program and the Department.



Typically, while we can make no guarantees, we are able to fund most of our Ph.D. students who make normal progress through five years of study.  We are able to explicitly commit to continuing your funding after the first year for four additional years if you maintain at least a 3.57 grade point average (for a typical three-course load, A, A-, B, or A-, A-, B+, for examples).  This commitment is of course contingent on successful fulfillment of your teaching responsibilities and maintenance of appropriate standards of professional conduct.
