一大早，收到这样一封信，我实在不敢确定，因为我条件并不是特别优秀，二本毕业，均分83，想让版主高手们帮我看看，害怕白兴奋了！！Dear Ms Zhao,

I am pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the
Economics MA program at the University of Victoria. For the 2008/09
academic year we are able to provide funding for you in the amount of
$12076. This funding comprises a teaching assistantship worth $7076
and additional funding support of $5000. The additional funding
support consists of some combination of fellowship support and
Academic Income Supplement support (AIS), which will be determined at
a later date.
In addition to this funding, students who enter our program may pursue
the co-operative education (co-op) option, which involves combining
two paid work terms with your academic program. While we cannot
guarantee a placement, our historical placement rate is nearly 100%.
The average monthly salary for a co-op placement is around $2600. A
typical route through the co-op program would begin with two terms of
coursework followed by a co-op term over the summer. The following
fall and spring are then spent in a second work term and a term on
campus to complete coursework requirements and an extended essay or
thesis. Second year MA students are also eligible to apply for a
teaching assistantship while on campus.

For the 2007/08 academic year, annual tuitions fees for the MA degree
were $4,665 for domestic students and $ $5,550 for visa students.

There are various teaching assistantship assignments but the most
common ones involve grading and leading tutorial classes for
undergraduate principles courses. We do try to take account of your
academic interests when we assign duties late in the summer. I should
note that fellowship funding is tied to employment income so we would
need to revise the fellowship funding we can provide if you decline a
teaching assistantship position.
