嗯, 楼主不是水过的.  楼主基本上就是美国所需要的那种人才了. ;d:

me：morning sir!
VO: 没有反应（很冷酷）看了看我的材料说：why purdue?
me: you know, the applied math in purdue ranked as top 20 among Universities in the USA, and Blababa...............
VO: what's your particular research subject, and what's it for?(大概是这样哈，因为当时很紧张，所以都没怎么听的很清楚）
me：PDE, sir, that is partial differential equation, an important branch in math. It can be widely used such as building models to predict weather changes, earthquake, and it also can be applied to engineering fields..................... ------这段回答得特别好! 很PROFESSIONAL!
VO: What will you do after graduation?
me: I will find a position in the university, like Sichuan University....(还没有说完就又被他打断了） -----这个其实回答得不怎么样, 不过无所谓了.  个人觉得, VO在听到楼主上面答的那段以后就决定给白条了.
VO: enough, enough. do you have a wife?
me:No. I don't even have a girl friend.
VO: Oh, yeah, math, too boring for girl?
me: yes, right.
VO: 没有说话了，就扯白条给我了。
me：that's it?
VO: Unless you wanna stand here answering my questions.
拿上材料赶紧闪人！

签过的最大原因: 楼主是学STEM的, 基础学科. 所以, 只要楼主能证明自己确实拥有拿PURDUE PH.D的实力, VO就不会再计较什么了.  就算你毕业后留在美国又怎么样?  美国需要你这样的做基础研究的人才.
