Dear Bellie, I know you long ago on this website. Are you now in FSU? Your information about the application helped me a lot when I made application. Now I have a question. See whether you can help me.

I have just received an e-mail of admission from the department of Educational Leadership
and Policy Studie. The official letter will me mailed soon with a survey.
But they didn't mention anything about the financial aid. Besides, do you have any idea about what the survey is?
What should I do now? can you give me some suggestion?

I can't remember the survey thing. As to financial aid, you should ask the departmental secretary for information. His name is Jimmy Pastrano. You can find his telephone number on departmental webpage. The deadline for university fellowship has passed and Jimmy should have the information by now as to whether you are nominated for it or not.
I encourage you to call him. I did the same last year.

Thank you so much Bellie, Jimmy told me he had submitted my name for the College of Teaching Fellowship.  The dean's office will make a decision in late March. Should I just wait or do sth else?

I have just got back from the Office of Graduate Study and learnt that the results for University Fellowship have come out. I believe offer letters are already on the way. You can call Jimmy for the result if you have been recommended for it.

Another thing I learnt about the fellowship is that 51 students are choosen including 16 continuing students. That means 35 new students can get this fellowship.

I have asked Jimmy about the fellowship result. Sadly, there is no new students being offered it in the program of higher education or educational leadership. The only one new student who gets it is in the program of international development education. Her last name is Wang.
Two chinese students have been recommended for College Teaching Fellowship. However, Jimmy told me that it's very competitive and nobody can guarantee. I remember the last name of one Chinese student is Liu. As to the other, I can't remember, sorry for that.

Well I am supposed to be the other Chinese student who has been recommended for College Teaching Fellowship. My last name is Tong. hee, do you have any vague impression? Money issue is quite difficult. I think this year it's getting severe.
