Nowadays, with the development of society, people increasingly think much of appearances and fashions. However, in my opinion, it is not benefit for ourselves to pay too much attention to this.
  First of all, it is not comprehensive to appraise a person mainly from appearance of him. For instance, some poor people like to dress themselves with most of their accumulations so that seem like wealthy people, while some wealthy people hardly spend their time and money in aspects and fashions. A beautiful and smart nurse may not take care of patients as well as other nurses in hospital. When most companies choose their new employees, not appearance and fashion but ability is the major standard for them. Indeed, some people pursuit fashion madly in order to conceal their inferiority complex in the heart.
  In addition, when people focus on their fashions and aspects, they often ignore to improve other points instead, which will decide their lives, like character, ability of communication, wisdom, etc. Especially for some young people, they often take notice what colors of shirts and trousers is popular in every year, and what style of hair is suitable for them. They care too much about this, instead of focus on their study and work, even their friends and parents.
  Nevertheless, there are also some advantages for people paying some attention to their appearances appropriately. Appearance of a person usually products the first image to other people. A clean, dapper, and comfortable appearance is often advantaged for the further communication with people, especially in merchant activities and social services. On the other hand, a beautiful or handsome image according to dressing could make a person fill his breast and be full of confidence during a day. Moreover, some certain professions need people take much care about appearances or fashions, like models and superstars, which often need to show the brand new fashions to people. However, different professions ask different images, so that the best appearances for people must be suitable of their status.
