Topic: There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music? Is the traditional music of a country more important than the International music that is heard everywhere nowadays?

My Writing:

While human civilization is created, music generated with it. Nowadays, there are many different types of music in the world. They may are classified as international music, traditional music etc. The people in accordance with different cultures, different ages maybe prefer some one of them. Usually, youths are very hot on pop music whereas older ones prefer traditional ones.

Most of us perhaps felt bored without music. As far as I am concerned, I almost spend about two hours on music every day. Listening to music enables me to feel relaxed on the way home from work or school. The music also makes me better when I feel some sad or alone. Besides these, the Music is helpful to make friends for me. Owing similar hobbies is a quite good topic as a comfort start when I meet some new friends either in real life or by internet.

There is a saying: the music is able to cross natural boundaries. People from different nation may have different language but have the similar feeling for music. When we feel happy, we like the joyful music. When we feel sadness, the gentle music give us a feeling of calmness. When we feel homesick, loneness could be relieved by familiar music from hometown or motherland. Hence, music could be said as one of closest friend for everybody. In view of this, the music truly is international. However, if you think carefully about music itself, you will find that the music also is a strong culture symbol. It can be represent some region, even country. For example, When the song known as Maoli Hua (Jasmine Flower) sounds, the scenes of China come into everybody’s mind. When the melody of Arirang reaches, the images of a dancing girl wearing Korean traditional costume come out. When coarse country music is played, it seems that some cowboys have been approaching nearby. Then the traditional music is compared with the international music, which one is more important? In my opinion, the traditional music maybe give most of us more impression. It is more imporant than the international music, for only the traditional music is the international music.
