Anger is an emotion common to all human beings. Laurence J. Peter said, "Speak when you are angry and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret." On the other hand, Malcolm X had a different point of view about anger claiming, "Usually when people are sad, they don't do anything. They just cry over their condition. But when people get angry, they bring about a change."

7 F R' d$ a. L! @: xAnger indeed has two sides, an interesting emotion that can bring forth beneficial change or fearful destruction. Anger, like all other emotions, can affect a person’s action both positively and negatively. Anger is uncontrollable force experienced by an individual when enraged, which causes people to lose their control of emotions and go on a rampage. Anger for sure, affects every normal human being, which in turn causes a ripple effect around our environment." \- N: q" u x4 |% @2 W" y/ x

Upon first thought, anger is a negative emotion to many of us. Anger causes us to mess things up most of the time, for we may completely lose control of ourselves. A truly enraged person goes on wild fury and may reveal the beast within, doing things that we regret for life. Thus for us normal people, managing our anger and prevent the negative emotion from bringing us out of control is vital.0 w6 J6 J$ U7 o

However, I believe that managing anger and turning the tide against us to reap benefits, making full exploitation out of a distressful situation. I see that there is a positive side to anger, as any emotion cannot be hundred-percent. For human’s emotions are complicated, as we many experience several emotions at the same time, sometimes feeling both a sense of happiness and regret. I think that anger can be stopped from building up into negative actions and be turned into a positive morale booster., k; E2 F3 C$ o( ~( T6 ^- n
$ T, T" v6 B3 ~; S. m& hAnger is an aggressor that pokes on our inner soul, which can indeed bring out an unbelievable surge of energy when managed well, propelling us forward to reach unachievable heights. I feel that anger is one of the most interesting emotions, and it definitely not totally negative. For example in battle, anger and fury will boost a warrior’s strength, enabling him to go into a rampage and attain immense strength to slay strong enemies. When facing our nemesis, anger becomes an extremely powerful boost to our strength, which may enable us to go through dire situations. When facing a hopeless situation, anger may let us discover our inner strength and unleash all our abilities. Losing our primary senses in life and death situations can be the important factor to our survival. Thus anger, when provoked at dire situations, can be a survival skill. For example in ancient Rome, criminals on death row are made to fight against other criminals for survival. These gladiators, if without anger, may not lose pity and will definitely end up losing their lives. Anger here in this situation, is seen to be the utmost useful skill, rather than a negative emotion.5 Z- c; J, n' H% W; b8 k

Anger, at surface value, is a scary emotion which people avoid. However, if managed properly, anger is able to bring out our warrior’s might that lies beneath us, even in the seeming weakest people.
