Socialization to children, especially in very early stage of education, definitely is of great importance, which can help with the children become socialized adult and then help with the hormonity (harmony) of the society. That is why the education of the socialization need to be emphasize from the early age of a little child. While the discipline of the society is something that is agreed by the majority of that society, but that does not mean that discipline is correct or will be correct forever. Thus, it is absurd to say how children are socialized will determine the destiny of society.
Surely the socialization is really essential for children to live in this world. From when we were born, we were taught the disciplines, from speaking, writing, communicating with other people, to the role in the society, ect. In fact, without the basic skills of communication, we even cannot live normally in this world. And it can also help us establish the concept of the role play, say, what kind of person I want to be? What aim I have? How can I reach that aim? Thus, the process of socialization of a child is the process which changes a natural person to a socialized person and help him find a right place in the society. If everyone can finish this process smoothly, surely it will benefit our society.
However, it is too early to get the conclusion that out fate of society depends only on the socialization of the children. Firstly, the disciplines of the society is consensus of most of the people in one society in one time, while it does not mean that they can be right or can be always right. For example, in acient(ancient) years, most of the world had the discrimination to women, nowadays, it still exists in some parts of the world. There were many restricts for women, some even could be sold like normal goods. Then in this kind of society with such obvious unfair, how can it make us believe if everyone can be socialized, the society will get harmony? Times are changing, and the disciplines of the society are different in the different era. Furthermore, the existing disciplines of the society may not appropriate, although most of the members in one society obey that kind of rules, for example, Chinese have the tradition of obeying parents, while parents cannot be always right, then when one has conflict with his/her parents, what reaction is correct? Accept their parents' idea or stick to their own opinion? We cannot simply say the socialization of children today determines the future of the society although it is so indispensible for our society.
And it is too quick to come to the conclusion that we have not learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society. As we all know the importance of the socialization, from when we were born, the it was emphasized in our education. When we were little babies, we were taught language and communication skills. When we growed (grew) up and entered kingdergarten (kindergarten) or priliminary school, we were taught the traditions and custom to help us become "socialized" persons for only human beings. Even when we become adults, we are still in the process of socialization in our everyday life. All kinds of medias, from newspaper to TV, lead us think about how to search for an appropiate place in the society, what should be our aims, or how to find out a way to achieve them, ect. All that mentioned above is the way to help people relieze(realize) their socialization. Surely we can do more to make it better, like calling back the traditional merits, ect.
In conclusion, children socialization process is really essential for the development of a society and we need to put the education of socialization of children to a very important place, especially before priliminary school. While it cannot be the determination power of a society, for it is changing along with the times, and our desendents will form their own disciplines by their own.
