Nowadays, with the increase of the students, the more printed books, the more trees are cut down. The use of the printed books is an issue which has caused a heated debate, with some people claiming that students will not use printed books any more, while others are on the other hand. I prefer the former than the latter in my inclination.
Firstly, with the education spreading widely, the need of the printed books are rising, which, have a significant influence on the environment. Indeed, more trees are cut down when the number of students increase, the decline of the forest area make the climate abnormal. For instance, the statistics by weather station show that the average of temperature gains 0.2 degree annually. The level of the water is rising because of the belting of the iceberg. If we don’t use printed books, the forest will regenerate and benefit the environment. Furthermore, so many idle books are printed, which, doing harm to the students waste the papers and trees. Thus, the consume of the books destroy the forest, for better environment, decreasing the printed book is necessary.
Secondly, the technology is developing at a very fast speed, which, make computer instead the printed books. Teachers prefer the computer than the books to prepare courses given that it is convenient and efficient. At the same time, students show too much favor in using computer to learn. Not only it is interest and vivid, but it facilitate students adapting to the technology development. For example, the recourses of most tests and courses is not only on the books but also on the Internet, which, without the limit space, is more widely and useful. So, printed books are less popular than ever.
In conclusion, the printed books will be not used any more in the future. Not only it exerts a positive influence on the environment but it also benefits the efficiency of study.
